Enjoy fresh mountain air at FOREST FRIENDS Cabin. Located in Arnold, CA it is situated halfway between Bear Valley ski hill and the historic wineries in Murphys and Angels Camp, one of the centers of the famous gold rush. This fully-equipped, all-electric cabin has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The interior has cathedral ceilings and plenty of natural light. And lots of paperbacks, puzzles, and firewood, in the rare case of power failure.
Just bring your own linen (sheets, towels) and paper goods.
The cabin is secluded on a 1/3 acre wooded lot for quiet, which is also flat for easy access, and just 10 minutes from town for groceries, restaurants, or sports equipment rentals. A large front yard gives children plenty of room to run. Located in Blue Lake Springs, there is a full recreation center with swimming pool and manmade lakes (springs) for freshwater swimming. Several golf courses are nearby.
Other attractions include Calaveras Big Trees State Park (redwoods) and White Pines Lake in Arnold. Bear Valley Ski Resort and Lake Alpine are less than an hour's drive, depending on road conditions. A bit further up Hwy 4 in summertime you can hike the Pacific Crest Trail which crosses Ebbetts Pass right at the summit. Or head down Hwys 4 and 49 to wineries or various reservoirs for a day of fishing. And we hear that there is still some gold in "them thar hills."

Really loved your cabin’s location and interior. Beautiful, quiet street, yet it was easy to get to things. The interior was comfy and cozy and the upstairs and downstairs sleeping spaces were great.
