I don’t think anyone doubts that the more you study what rentals are available, the better your decision will be in selecting just the one that meets your vacationing needs. I certainly hope you will do that until the ‘cows come in’. There is an important by-product to this studying process and that is learning about the area. You might even find yourself making up a ‘To Do List’…..something you didn’t think you would do for your vacation. I want to help you along in the process by adding two links below, the first one will talk about Barefoot Landing in particular and the second one, North Myrtle Beach in general.
You know, of course, the saying, ‘seeing is believing’ and its cousin, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’. VRBO allows us to display as many as 16 pictures, which we have done. The frosting on the cake is the video. This is a super way to tie in all the pictures. You can watch the video by clicking on the video icon above the first picture. Click once more….this time the play button that now appears where the picture was. Most owners are good at writing about their place and the area. We want our pictures and video to do our talking for us. We want to give you the feeling of actually picturing yourself there.
As we all try to work our way through the Recession, it has become increasingly important to making sure you are getting the nicest place possible for the lowest price. But most important is that it meets your needs. I am confident my rates will be among the lowest you can find, but it is important you ‘keep my feet to the fire’. If you find a lower rate, just email it to me with its web link so I can make sure it is ‘an apple to apple’ comparison. I’m going to try and beat the price you find by $50.
The owner has gone the extra mile in providing such things for the little ones like Cosco High Chair, Cosco Fun Sport Play Yard and Bright Stars Play Station.
I am very appreciative of you visiting our web site and considering our place. I look forward to providing any assistance possible as you search for the perfect vacation home to match your needs. DID YOU REMEMBER TO WATCH THE VIDEO? YOU CAN DO SO BY CLICKING ON THE VIDEO ICON ABOVE THE FIRST PICTURE, UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER.
HIGHLIGHTS IN REVIEW: 1)If you are requesting a lower price than our posted rate, then we need the web link to the lower priced one you are considering. 2)Check calendar for availability before submitting an inquiry. 3)Review the 16 pictures and video. 4)Read comments by past guests. 5)Thank you so much for considering our place.
I usually respond to an inquiry within 24 hours of receipt. If you haven't heard from me within that frame period, check the calendar for availability. I usually don't respond if we don't have availability. Next try your spam. Sometimes I get caught there. Last but not least call me at 704-896-1995 (Peter)

My wife and I stayed at the Havens villa in early Nov 09. We found the villa to be quite spacious, and close to everything. It was only 5 minutes to the Outlet Mall, which made for nice evening shopping, and 5 minutes the the SR 22 by-pass which provided easy access to Broadway at the Beach. It was located in a beautifully landscaped area (reminded us of Disney), which made for a nice morning or evening stroll. All in all, a very nice place, and we would definitely rent this unit again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

We really like the property and the location for this summer vacation. The property was well kept and everything was in order( Linens, keys, access). The townhouse was spacious and provided us with a great place to invite our other friends in the area. The maintenance manager was accessible( I only called him to let him know we checked into the home). Recommendation: They should enclose the patio as several other properties adjacent are covered and it present another room that can be enjoyed. A couple of light bulbs were out, but that wasn't a big deal. Overall the property was excellent and dealing with Peter was pleasant. ThanksRecommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful time this year!! The house was perfect we have no complaints at all. We rented a golf cart and that helped a lot going back and forth to the beach thank you Peter for suggesting that. We definitely will be renting again in the future. Thanks again! Our stay here at the Havens was wondeful!! The condo was clean, well furnished, and the pool was great! The location was close to everything that we wanted to do! The beach, the shops, the shows, and it was closer to myrtle and brodwAy than what I thought it was. The only trouble we had was locating public parking for the beach because we didn't want to wait for the shuttle! We found a spot on 37th and seaview so it worked out! The overall stay was very pleasant, it was like home and was very relaxing! We are hopefully planning to return again next year and we will recommend this rental and other rentals throuh you. Vince was also a wonderful guy! He even gave us a reccomendation to have burgers at River City!! It was good! Thank you Peter and thank you vince!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband and I stayed here for an entire week with our two teenagers. The HOUSE is amazing!!!! Yes it is a house even though it is considered a townhouse...the space is incredible and the accommodations were outstanding!!! There are so many attractions close by and the beach access is only about two miles. The price compared to the beachfront condos is definitely a bargin as well. We had traveled there for a cheer competition and most of our group chose to stay at the Dunes Village which included a indoor water park. Very pricey and not much to boast about. We ourselves decided to search for something more cozy and off to our own that would still enable us to explore Myrtle Beach. This was the perfect place for us!!!! We are more nature than touristy so we explored that about Myrtle. I would highly recommend visiting the parks such as Hunington state park which has the Atalaya Castle (Awesome) and Myrtle Beach State park! Bully's Island was a prime destination we wanted to explore but the ferry ride which is the only way to get to this uninhibited island was $40 adults and $20 children which deterred us from doing so. So we decided to visit Sullivan's Island which is 90 miles south and a very quick drive...beautiful!!! And we definitely recommend. Bill Murrey is said to live here? On the way back stop at Jacks Cosmic Dogs!!! The Galactic Dog is phenomenal!!! this is located right on Hwy. 17 Two other places to eat for sure is The Original Benjamine's Seafood Buffet...$29.99 a person but it is definitely the best choice out of all buffets!!! The other is Abuelo's Mexican Embassey....unbelievable Mexican cuisine and very inexpensive!!! Highly recommend these for dining. Overall experience in Myrtle was a delight and to come home to our house in the evening was a perfect ending to each day;-) have a great time and I hope you chose Peter to accommodate you for your vacation...a wonderful genuine hospitable gentleman!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The townhouse was very nice and comfortable as well as very spacious and clean. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable, and reasonably priced place when visiting the Myrtle Beach area. The only suggestion families with children should consider is that if they plan to spend a lot of time just relaxing around the pool they may want to consider Barefoot Resorts condos as the pool area is much larger and offers more ammenities. If you are a family that plans to do more site seeing and other activities, this townhouse is the perfect choice as it is more private and less busy. The Havens townhouse area is the perfect choice for those wanting a more laid back and relaxed atmosphere.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We stayed at the Havens 2 yrs in a row. We really enjoy this townhome...makes us feel like we are at home. Enough room for a family of six. My family and I just spent the past week vacationing at Myrtle Beach and we stayed in this townhome in the Havens. We were all pretty impressed (2 adults and 2 teenagers) with the property and what it had to offer. It was well maintained inside and out, clean, and most importantly...safe. It is exactly as depicted in the description, and central to all kinds of activities along with the beach. We would definately rent again if back in the area.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I had a great time in Myrtle Beach and our condo was great. Everything was as described and there was plenty of room for all of us. The layout of the condo was great and the location provided a short drive to the beach. The manager was very helpful whenever I had a question. This was much more wallet-friendly and spacious than staying in a hotel. We had a wonderful time on our vacation and Myrtle Beach offers so many activities for everyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: My name is Peter Cole and I wear many hats: an oceanfront, resort, rental condo owner; property manager; rental agent; dog tender (That is Woody in the picture. Spends most of his day in the chair across from my desk watching me work.) and favorite; loving husband. As a Medicare card carrying senior, I look back over a full life. My chosen life ‘occupation’ (my Mother could never bring herself to call it a job) was to take teens on cross country camping trips; 3000 teens in all, spanning 33 years. My nephew Doug slipped into my shoes as I slipped into my retirement. My friends and relatives worried about my having too much time on my hands in retirement so they gave me their resort properties to manage. My reputation as a good manager/agent grew. Now 12 properties fill my stable. It was 1967 when I took ownership of my first rental property. In the years since, we have bought and sold 11. I come to you with a lot experience. I do not take lightly the importance of your vacation. I want to match your needs with the properties I represent. There are 16 pictures, a video and lots of verbiage. I am here to answer all your questions.
