  Our stay at Beachfront Bliss was very nice! The condo came stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, etc. I can't tell you how important that is to me. It is impossible to travel light when you have two small children, so having all of those items readily available upon our arrival was fantastic! The view: AMAZING, and as advertised! The Condo (Pros): Perfect size for our family of four. Loved having two bathrooms. Clean. My daughter loved the PINK room. Awesome beach/water view from the guest room. Cozy. It wasn't so overly fancy that I was worried my kids would destroy things. Nice/Big screen TV in the living room. Couch was comfy. Big dining table. Also, the fact that there is an elevator for the building makes it soooo much easier to load and unload all of your luggage! (We never had to wait more than a minute to get on.) The laundry room is just a few quick steps away! The Condo (Cons). Just a few cons, but NOTHING that would keep us from staying here again! The pull out bed was not so comfy, but I'm not sure they ever are. I wish both bathroom doors AND the closet door with the cleaning supplies locked. I would have LOVED for there to be a bit thicker curtains over the sliding doors for two reasons. One, I think perhaps we were on display from the second bedroom and living room. And two, it gets bright pretty quickly there in the mornings (this really wouldn't have been an issue except for having young kids.) And lastly, this is on the second floor so you get noise from above and below. This didn't bother us too much as we're pretty laid back & forgiving over those little things ;) Extras: There are umbrellas and chairs available on the beach. (They might cost a small fee. I'm not one hundred percent sure.) We saw dolphins on our first day out to the beach. Also, if you like to fish, we saw fish literally jumping out of the water every single day. There are always people parasailing. So, if you're into that sort of thing, I doubt you'd have to travel at all to do that! There are a ton of cool surf shops (one directly across the street you can walk to) and also a couple Wal-Marts, Grocery stores, etc. that are just a short drive away. VERY CONVENIENT location! And of course, lots of yummy restaurants nearby! Overall everything was really great! We'd definitely stay here again. :) Also, Alice (the owner) was great to deal with. Very friendly and accomodating! We were comfortable and most importantly made great memories with our little ones!

  The condo is so colorful! The living room furniture is nice and modern! The bedrooms are small but who is really even in the condo?! Kitchen is a little outdated but everything works great! Beautiful view!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

  This condo is excellent and very clean. We have stayed here for the last six years at least twice a year and have enjoyed every stay we have had. The condo is well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, towels and everything you need to enjoy the stay. The location of the condo is exceptional. It is located with in walking distance of everything you need. I have two small children and would not stay anywhere else. I feel that my children are safe and secure at this condo. My oldest which is 4 thinks this is his second home. He is always wanting to go to his "beach house." Also, the pool is excellent. There are enough chairs and room in the pool for everyone who is there, unlike at the high rise places. Best of all the owners are Excellent to work with. THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy your condo and share this special place with others. We have so many Great memories as a family that have been made here and hope to have many more.

  I have stayed in the southern sands condos many times before. I was so excited that this unit on the front of the structure was available. You can imagine how disappointed I was when I walked in and found the furnishings and the condo to be in such bad shape. The view from the condo was outstanding but that is the only good thing I can say about it. I would never stay in this unit again. Next time I will stay in one of the other units in this building. Here are a list of the pros: Sleeper sofa is broken, you can not sit on each end, you fall to the middle, looks ok on the internet, but don't be fooled. Chairs in living area a tiny, low to the ground and don't face the TV so the only option you have is sitting on the broken couch. Patio furniture is flimsy and low to the ground, if you sit in them all you see is balcony. Both beds had cheap mattresses and were not comfortable to sleep on. If you are planning on staying for a week, don't expect to be rested when you leave. We went and got 2 of the blow up mattresses and ending up sleeping on them during most of our stay. You could get a good set of Sealy mattresses for less than a weeks rent in this condo so the fact that these are so cheap is totally unacceptable to me. The guest bedroom which is the one on the front of the unit with access to the balcony has NO privacy, the "curtains" are more like shears and you can see everything from this room. Don't think you can go into the bedroom and change clothes cause everyone on the beach or at the pool or anyone else in the condo who happens to walk out on the balcony will be getting a show. None of the doors like inside the unit, this includes the bathrooms and the bedrooms. Paint is peeling on every ceiling in the unit, there is dust hanging on every vent, not a good place to stay if you have any allergies. Dishwasher does not clean dishes. I ran the dishwasher and when I unloaded, I had to hand wash everything even the cereal bowls. Internet speed is good if no on else is in the condo, over the weekend when all units are occupied, the speed is so slow you can't use. I used one of the wireless units from the condo next door to get decent speed. I would never stay in this unit again. Beachfront Bliss is in DESPERATE need for a little TLC and all the furniture needs to be replaced.
