Cottage 282 is a newly renovated Outer Banks oceanfront vacation rental located in Kill Devil Hills. This oceanfront rental is located 1/2 mile south of the Wright Brothers Memorial in the Wright Cottage Court. It is the upstairs of a duplex unit (cottage 182 is the downstairs--vrbo 21925) on the oceanfront.
This 3 bedroom oceanfront rental features 2 baths, a living room/kitchen, stacked washer dryer, dishwasher and an oceanfront deck. The kitchen features (ALL NEW): stove/oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, coffeemaker, dinnerware, cookware and silverware. The oceanfront deck is located off the living room/kitchen area and is the cottage's entrance.
There is a full bath located in the hallway. There is another bath located off the bedroom with 2 double beds. There is an additional bedroom with 1 queen bed and an additional bedroom with 2 twin beds. All TVs are flat panels and most are wall-hung. There is also an outdoor shower (with an exterior entrance). It is shared with the downstairs unit (vrbo 21925).
This cottage is great for families so everyone can have their own bedroom--grandma, the grandkids, and mom & dad. Everyone can be together but separate with their own space. This cottage has free hi speed wireless internet and free linen set up (linen is not refreshed). Guests have access to our outdoor pool located next door at our adjacent property (where you check in). YMCA passes may also be checked out daily there on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Our cottages are not run by a realty company so they are maintained by owners living on the beach. So if for any reason a mainteance issue was to occur, you can be sure that the situtaion would be handled quicker than waiting for a few days for someone to diagnose a problem.
The marker for this rental on google maps is located on top of the cottage. This rental has had a new roof (it's now black) since 2002 when this satellite image was taken if you are looking at it with another mapping program.

We enjoyed our stay at your beach house! Everything was neat and clean and we appreciated that! It was great being close to the beach. I'd recommend it for young people because there are a lot of steps to climb but the view of the ocean from up high was beautiful! Thank you!!

stayed the week of 6/19, the place was dirty, run down. Would not rent again.
