Il Casale di Olimpia is a nicely restored 19th century farmhouse located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, at the border with Umbria, with marvelous views of Cortona and rolling countryside. The complex has been restored with care, using original materials and maintaining its rural character. Terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, original doors enhance the special atmosphere of this farmhouse. The décor and antique furniture in all rooms have been chosen with loving care to create a simple and harmonic effect. It can sleep up to 8 persons.
Situated approximately 10 minutes drive from Cortona, in the heart of the Chiana Valley, not far from Montepulciano, between Castiglione del Lago in Umbria and Cortona. In a splendid quiet position, surrounded by a mature garden with swimming pool and a little pool of hot water, heated by solar-panels.
Furnished and equipped in Tuscan traditional style, perfect for relaxing and for enjoying the atmosphere of bygone days, when life would follow the rhythm of nature. The rooms are spacious and bright, perfect for a relaxing and comfortable sojourn. Every detail combines to recreate the charm and ambience of a typical Tuscan country-house.

The Farmhouse develops in 2 levels. It is surrounded by an enchanting garden.
GROUND FLOOR: large living room with open fireplace, sofas and table, kitchen/dining room with table and chairs, 1 double bedroom - windows-doors with access to the garden, bathroom with shower. Internal staircase to the first floor: 2 double bedrooms with wardrobe and 2 bedside table, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower. Washing machine in a space outside the house. Equipped kitchen. Swimming pool Hot-water pool, heated by solar panels. The swimming pools are open from the 15th of May to the 30th of September.
Furnished in Country-Tuscan- style. GPL Heating. It can therefore be rented all year round.
