This self catering apartment, part of a newly built private residence, is situated in Cas En Bas, a quiet residential area close to Rodney Bay. It is located 1/2 mile from the main road linking Cap Estate with Rodney Bay and Castries. The property benefits from cooling Atlantic breezes with views over green hills and the Atlantic coast.

Pigeon Island beach is 1 mile away and Cas En Bas beach (Cotton Bay beach) is 1 1/2 miles. This vast, unspoilt stretch of sandy beach is popular with wind and kite surfers. The Cap Estate Golf and Country Club with its 18 hole championship golf course is only 5 mins drive away. Trimms riding stable located a mere 5 min walk away can arrange rides down to Cas En Bas beach.

All the best restaurants, bars and nightlife in Rodney Bay are between 5-10 mins drive away as are other great beaches from Pigeon Island to Reduit beach. The newly renovated Rodney Bay Marina, with its restaurants, shops, boat hire and coastal tours is only 5 mins drive away.

The apartment's entrance is located off a newly built private terrace with small swimming pool. Both sea views and cool breezes can be enjoyed from here. The apartment boasts a light, bright open plan sitting area with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, stove, microwave and breakfast bar, utility area with a washing machine, cable TV (50 channels) and wireless internet.

The spacious bedroom with Queen sized bed and AC has an ensuite bathroom. The living room has a double sofa bed suitable for children rather than a second couple as the bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom. Housekeeping is provided on a weekly basis.

The owners live in the main building so are always close at hand to help with any enquiries the guests may have.

  • I had the amazing opportunity to spend over 2 weeks in a little paradise in Cas en Bas , yes!! it was paradise, the little appartment, wich I describe more of a little romantic villa was located at the top of a mountain looking down at the ocean, the view was outstanding and enchanting. The villa was superb equiped with all you need , also very modern and especially spotless. I found the location very good as I enjoyed my walk down to catch the local bus everyday day.I was ver impress with the service I received from Jerome the owner of the place, he was very friendly and represented the real hospitality of this wonderful island. It was my first experience staying in a private place , I usually stay in all inclusive hotel. I highly recommend the little paradise in Cas en Bas not only for the beauty of the view , the great care from the owner nor the magical moments I had there but especially for the special hospitality from St Lucians, and the combination of feeling right at home so far away.   • Our honeymoon stay at Karen & Jerome's apartment was fantastic. The apartment exceeded our expectations (new furnishings, full kitchen that worked great for us, and private dip pool). Plus, Karen and Jerome were great hosts with perfect mix of privacy and information about the island. They have a great folder of information about the island and available activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to anyone staying in St. Lucia (4x4 recommended though!). Thanks Karen and Jerome, we'll be sure contact you if we're planning on coming back to the island!

  • This apartment is a true gem! It is accurately described on the website and is even better than it appears in the photographs. Well appointed and beautifully decorated, it has everything you could need for your stay. The pool has a lovely view of the Atlantic and is great to relax next to with a cold beer. Karen & Jerome are excellent hosts and are on call if needed but not intrusive. It is great value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone and will be coming back next year.

  • We had a wonderful stay in this apartment June/July 2009. The apartment and outside area are beautifully presented and extremely comfortable. Like a home from home. The apartment had everything we could have needed including hairdryer, cooking equiptment etc ! We were visiting with our 4 month old baby and again everything we needed for him was provided including cot, bouncy chair etc. Karen and Jerome are wonderful people and will go out of their way to help you in any way needed during your stay. Excellent location close to beautiful cas-en-bas beach and a short drive from Rodney Bay. Also felt very safe as the apartment is linked to the house but still a very private location!! Highly recommended!!

  • My wife and 2 kids stayed at this wonderful apartment for a week and we must say it was amazing. The apartment was very spacious and Karen and Jerome are wonderful people. The gave us great advice on places to go visit and we really got to see all that Saint Lucia had to offer. The apartment is beautiful and very cozy. I can't wait to return next year.

  • I had a great 3 week stay at this apartment and would definately recommend it for independant travellers. It is good value for money and a very good location to act as a base from which to explore the north of the island. I would recommend renting a 4x4 as the road to the apartment is uphill, and many of the areas worth exploring are only accessible this way. The apartment was very modern, clean, light and airy, and has lovely breezes. Karen and Jerome were great hosts, respecting the need for privacy, but always on hand if needed with advice or whatever was needed. The balcony and plunge pool area lovely addition and the apartment is very secure (being attached to the house) nso I would also recommend for a single traveller. Thanks for a great stay!

  • My Husband and I stayed at the apartment with our 11 year old daughter for 2 weeks March/April. We instantly felt at home, Karen and Jerome were absolutly some of the best people we have met, they were very helpful in every way, they definatly made our holiday stress free! The apartment was very well equiped and very clean. Our daughter slept on the convertable bed, and said she was very comfortable. The plunge pool was a very nice feature to have, in the hotest part of the day it is shaded and was perfect for our daughter to play in and cool down before going back out to explore the beautiful island again.( A rental 4x4 is a necessity in order to explore the island) We can not wait to go back again, and no question about it we will stay at this apartment. The location was great, beautiful sun rises and wonderful people. By far one of our best holidays!

  • Excellent apartment which enables one to discover the real St Lucia and enjoy the Cap resorts at a fraction of the cost (it is only a short cycle ride from Le Sport and Cotton Bay where you can use all of the hotel facilities for a small fee, or nothing if you buy food/beer). With Virgin almost giving away flights it would be rude not to visit again, which I will be doing soon...

  • What a GREAT VIEW what a GREAT DEAL and what a GREAT FAMILY!! Karen and Jerome made us feel instantly welcome. We were greeted with open arms and wonderful smiles.Then we were escorted to this amazing apartment with a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean. Fresh flowers fruit and even a cold Piton were a refreshing treat after a day of travel.The apartment is very nice even better than the photos suggest.Karen & Jerome were so helpful giving information on local places to see and things to do. We would strongly recommend you stay here while you visit this wonderful island. We have only been home 2 weeks and can't wait to return. GREAT PLACE!!

  • The appartment was a real pleasure - spotlessly clean and very comfortable and secure. Well equiped kitchen (although we mostly ate out at the fabulous local restaurants)and can't thank Jerome and Karen enough for making us feel so welcome. I feel we got to know the real St Lucia rather than the "tourist" one of the big resorts and what an enchanting place it is and what lovely people. Don't miss the local "jump up" - so much fun - can't wait to return!
