We are looking forward to welcome you in our beautiful holiday apartment in Berlin-Mitte. It is located right at Rosenthaler Platz, one of the trendiest and most central places in town.

Mitte is without doubt the single best place to stay in Berlin if you plan to explore the city.
To name just the most important places to visit within 15 minutes walking distance:

- Hackescher Markt (main tourist place in Mitte, boutique shopping etc.)
- Oranienburger Str (with the Jewish Synagoge, the Tacheles cultural center)
- Alexanderplatz with the famous TV tower
- Scheunenviertel (one of the oldest quarters in the city center, hundreds of art galleries)
- Kastanienallee (wonderful atmosphere, boutique shops, bars, restaurants)
- Museum Island (Complex listed on World Heritage Sites)
- Berlin Cathedral
- State Opera
- “Unter den Linden”
- Friedrichstraße (Shopping and Business)
- Brandenburg Gate (~30min walk)
- "Reichstag" - the parliament (~30min walk)
- B-Flat Jazz Club for great Jazz concerts

Just within 30 minutes distance around the apartment you find enough exciting things to discover for several weeks – and that is just Berlin-Mitte (which literally means “center”).
It is surrounded by the three next most interesting districts Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, which are all waiting to be visited!
Last but not least: Unlike in many other big capitols people still live in Berlin’s city center.
You find supermarkets, grocery stores, local restaurants, farmers markets and whatever else you need. Even Europe’s biggest organic supermarket is nearby.
Living is still very affordable and fun in Berlin!

It takes only 30-60 minutes to get here from either of Berlin's two airports and only 15 minutes from the central station. We are happy to help you with exact details once you know the exact place and time of your arrival.
The next subway station (U Rosenthaler Platz) is right across the street and there is about a dozen tram-, subway-, S-Train, and bus lines nearby.

  • We loved the apartment and how easy it was to get around from there. Our hosts were very kind and helpful - and we loved Berlin! The steps are easy and great exercise after a good meal. The restaurants they suggested were great. Hope to be back soon!

  • A wonderful base to experience and explore Berlin.Lovely spacious apartment with wooden floors,comfy bed and well equipped kitchen.Opposite a park and U Bahn station and just around the corner from a big supermarket.The owners gave great recommendations for local restaurants--we particularly enjoyed Nolas[in park], Fleury[across the park] and Khushi[15 min walk]and discovered a fantastic seafood cafe[Bandol Sur Mer,a couple of blocks away].

  • The apartment is very nice, clean and spacious! Lovely little kitchen and everything you need is right there. The location is also perfect. As said before...the stairs....specially after hours of shopping you have to drag yourself up those steps! :-) Thanks again for the hospitality and we will be back!!

  • We recently stayed at this lovely apartment. It was perfect in every way, including the colorful bouquet of fresh flowers placed in the kitchen for our arrival. Its features are exactly as listed and shown on the internet. It should be mentioned that the apartment is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator... a problem only if you are elderly or handicapped. I am VERY picky about cleanliness and this apartment was super clean. The whole feel of being there was wonderful with the big open rooms full of air and light. It was great having a kitchen for breakfast and such a comfortable bed at night. The location was very quiet and yet just steps away from the U-bahn station for easy access to all areas of the city. You will love staying here and visiting Berlin!

  • This large apartment felt like home to us and the friendly owners gave us helpful advice and recommended great restaurants nearby. The apartment is right next to a beautiful park which we sat in and watched the sun set. We would love to stay in this spacious apartment again. Or simply move in. Its location and neighborhood are superb. The owners lovingly suggested cool places that we could visit. Berlin is great.

  • We stayed in this lovely, spacious, clean and quiet flat recently. The flat is perfectly positioned for walking to all of the major sites in central Berlin. As well, the u-bahn is just across the street, is one stop from Alexanderplatz and this provides easy links to any part of the city. Many good restaurants are close and the Schlemmerbuffet, arguably the best place to get doners in Berlin, is a 2 minute walk from the flat at the corner of Rosenthaler and Tor. Grischa and Manuela, the owners, were most gracious and helpful, answering all possible questions about Berlin. We really enjoyed our time in Berlin and will definitely book this flat again if we visit this beautiful city another time.

  • If I ever get the chance to visit Berlin again, I would rent this apartment. The location is great, you can easily walk around Berlin, or if you need to go a little farther the U-Bahn is right outside your door, and you are one stop away from Alexanderplatz. Located not far from the apartment are pletny of shops and resturants, giving the area a nice livley feel. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you meet. They also make sure that you have all the information you need to enjoy your stay in Berlin, making themselves easily reachable for any needs or questions you might have. The apartment itself is a great little place, perfect for anyone looking for something more than a hotel, a home away from home. I look forward to being able to rent from them again :)

  • Highly recommendable! The flat is quiet and clean, well-equipped, and the owners are very helpful and nice persons. In addition, it is hard to imagine a better location in central Berlin (Mitte / Prenzlauer Berg) with good access to the public transport system.
