Enjoy this inviting three bedroom cottage on Mirror Lake with screened-in Muskoka room where you can eat a leisurely breakfast or relax in the wicker furniture overlooking the natural wildflower setting with full lakefront view. A large 400 square foot deck includes comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ and four person hot tub.
The natural cedar living / dining room with hardwood floors includes a wood stove, satellite TV, VCR, DVD and stereo. A dining table that accommodates eight completes this space. The full kitchen contains a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, stove, water cooler, dishes and utensils. A stacked washer/dryer, stand-alone freezer and pantry are located in the laundry room. The cottage has three bedrooms with a queen bed in the master, bunk bed (double on bottom and single on top)in the middle room and a double bed in the third bedroom. Linens are included.
Amble down to the dock and enjoy the shallow water and campfire area. A canoe, kayak, paddles and life jackets are included. If you wish to bring your own boat you can moor it at the 40 foot main dock. Boat rentals are available in the area and a public boat launch is only minutes away. There is also a pontoon boat attached to the dock that can be used as an additional sunbathing area. The pontoon boat with driver can be rented separately for tours.
Get out of the sun or relax in the boathouse / bunkie. The bunkie contains two single beds, bar fridge, coffee maker, toaster, couch, table and chairs for a change of pace. A small deck off the front is covered by an awning and includes a two-seater glider. The top of the boathouse is available for sunbathing or morning coffee with a spectacular view of the lake.
Within 2 km. by car or boat is the historic town of Port Carling connecting the big three lakes: Joseph, Muskoka and Rosseau. The town offers excellent dining, upscale shopping, grocery and liquor/beer store.
Bracebridge is 27 km by car or boat and offers a full range of shops, grocery stores, a hospital, theatre and Walmart. Along the way is Santa's Village, the theme park where it is Christmas every day.
The Muskoka area is full of unlimited opportunities for the sports enthusiast seeking golf, wakeboarding and biking trails to the laid back day-tripper exploring antique shops, art galleries and historic sites.
