  Owners were very helpful and easy to work with. Condo is even nicer than in pics. Las Mananitas is in a great location - close to the Mega, beach and gelato!. The condo itself is very close to one of the pools but a short walk to the beach - which made it more quiet. The condo complex is quiet, safe and very well maintained. This was a great family vacation for our 2 year old. We snorkeled at Chileno Bay, surfed, shopped in San Jose square, and had amazing meals. Check out Mi Ensalada (on Hwy 1 just west of Las Mananitas) for some amazing fresh salads and Tequila for a nice dinner in a beautiful atmosphere in San Jose square. The activities center just outside the front gates is quite helpful with activity planning. He set us up with the Caborey dinner cruise (departing from Cabo) which was fabulous.

  We recently rented this unit over the xmas period. It was our first time in Mexico with our 2 year old daughter and we were very concerned about making sure that it was going to be a child friendly experience, which it was! This is an amazing complex and the general area is great for kids too. Very safe and lots of amenities close at hand; grocery stores, ice cream shops, playground. The conceirge at the complex is very helpful and will order taxis,organize rental cars and suggest restaurants...make sure you tip him! This ground floor unit is beautiful, spacious and very efficient if you have a small one that needs a break from the sun constantly and you don't want the struggle of going up and down an elevator every time. The unit is well equipped and the owners are very helpful and give you a great list of local sights and restaurants before you even arrive. We will definitely return, possibly as owners next time! LOVED IT.

  Our family just spent 11 nights at Las Mananitas and would have loved to stay longer. We went with two other families that also rented condos. Among us we had 9 children aged between 6-19 and everyone had a fabulous time. The 3 different pool areas provided a change so you could enjoy more/less sun/shade, protection from the wind or the last possible drop of sunshine on any given day. The beach seemed endless and we enjoyed many long walks in both directions.The location is very convenient as you can walk to get groceries or hop on the bus for a quick ride into town. We didn't rent a car and you really don't even need one unless you're doing longer day trips. The bus system/taxi service were both excellent. The condo was clean and a most impressive size. There was plenty of space to spread out so noone got on each other's nerves. The guards were friendly and the atmosphere of Las Mananitas was relaxed. We loved our holiday at Las Mananitas and loved San Jose del Cabos and it's quaint charm. There are numerous superb restaurants to try in town and we would highly recommend The Tropicana which has a live Mexican band playing from 6-8:30 nightly (except Tuesdays) and is a great deal of fun. Without a doubt Las Mananitas was a real gem and Penny & Peter that own the condo were always quick to respond to any questions we had. This was most definitely a 5/5!

  This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The pictures are good but they really don't do the property justice - it's so much more beautiful in real life. I won't forget my wife's expression when we walked through the door - she said, "You've got to be kidding me! This is too good to be true." It was our first time renting a home through VRBO and we were somewhat skeptical but those feelings evaporated quickly. When we walked out onto the absolutely massive travertine/limestone patio that is a few short steps from one of the most beautiful salt water pools you've ever seen, we knew that our vacation would be even better than we had hoped for. We've done the all-inclusive thing before (in fact, we stayed at one just a little further down the beach) but we won't be doing that again - not after experiencing Las Mananitas. Don't underestimate the value of being in the ONLY non-hotel, NON-TIME SHARE development in the area. You don't get hassled by the time-share bandits and the atmosphere is a 10 out of 10. The condo is huge - both bedrooms are very large and the elegant decor is classy. We walked to Mega to do our grocery shopping and felt right at home very quickly. The fitness centre is what you would expect in a professional gym and the tennis court is rarely used and beautiful. The owners, Penny & Peter were very helpful to us and easy to deal with - everything they told us proved to be helpful and true (especially restaurant recommendations). We were happy to find a Canadian owned convenience store (Super Dick) that was just a short walk away and sells "Canadian style" butter, sour cream, chocolate & bagels (you don't realize how much you miss those simple pleasures until you can't get them) PLUS, he always has the Canucks games playing on his Canadian satellite dish - and he lets you make calls home for free! We have recommended this property to many of our friends and family - it was the best holiday experience we've had in a long time! My two daughters (10&12) loved it too! Thank you Penny & Peter, as I said before, you under-promised and over-delivered - you can count on renting to us again!!!

  We had a fabulous stay in this spacious, well appointed condo. The pool, in front of the condo, is magnificent (salt water) with hot tub and swim-up bar. You are steps from a 7 mile beach, walking distance from San Jose and across the road from a huge modern supermarket. A great vacation spot.
