The listing and the photos are very accurate. This condo is wonderful! It was just what we needed to recover from a few days at Disney. 2nd floor (with an elevator), a beautiful view of the sun rising, nice big pool, steps to the ocean, clean, well-maintained and a nice showerhead! Sometimes it's the little things that make or break a rental and they have covered it all! The owner was very helpful, quick to respond. We went into historic Fernandina Beach and ate at the Marina Restaurant and Crap Trap...both were very good. Neat shops to visit in the historic area. I would recommend to others and would definitely go back.Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Beautiful grounds, quiet location. Beautiful views from the condo! The condo was clean and well-equipped and spacious. However, the lighting in the bathroom was poor. I only wish there were restaurants within walking distance. Other than that, location was perfect. I will stay here again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We recently returned from two of the most wonderful weeks of our lives! It was hard to leave this 'home away from home' after the such a relaxing vacation. The owners were helpful & answered all questions promptly, making reservations stress-free. Amelia Island was as wonderful as I remembered from my childhood. Downtown Fernandina is a only a few minutes away and always a delight. So many yummy places to choose from for fresh seafood! One of our favorites was Sliders & The Surf. This condo is comfortable with very nice furnishings and a well-stocked kitchen if you want to cook in. The pool & beach are only a few steps away and never crowded. We definitely plan to return, this could be an annual event on our calendar.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Its so convenient to be two sand dunes down from the Ritz to enjoy nice poolside lunches, tennis lessons, spa...but then its nice to be at the Amelia Surf & Raquet Club condo for a quite breakfast on the porch, a space much bigger than a hotel room, free tennis courts, an amazing view from both the living room and bedroom and a kitchen to cook dinner and watch a movie. We have stayed at S&R three times in past 18 months. I wish the condos had an upgraded bathroom and kitchen but the price is reasonable so that makes up for it. During our stay we looked at a number of units for sale and this unit is the nicest. Its convenient on the 2nd floor so you can walk up the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator but its high enough to still have a great view. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Lou and I love to travel, play tennis, golf, snow ski, hike, bike, play cards and board games. We love to visit our Amelia Surf and Racquet Club condo. Walk on the beach. Read. Golf. Looking out our window we don't see another building, just the ocean and the beach. We feel like we are on our own private island. It's our little home away from home.
Why the Owner Chose Other Amelia Island Properties:
Amelia is an undiscovered Island on the Northeast coast of Florida. Very little traffic. Wonderful restaurants. Great beach. Quiet and peaceful. Only 30 min from the Jacksonville airport, so it is easy to get to. It's a nice change of pace.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love having a great grocery store less than 5 min away. The town of Fernandina Beach has wonderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our favorite is the Surf, about 5 min down the ocean road.
