Carefully nestled into the vivid green landscape, Gota do Mar lies at a secluded intersection of earth and sea. You'll find purpose-built spaces to host your group's activities, including our spectacular vaulted meeting hall. With an infinite ocean view, ample natural light and invigorating sea breeze filtering throughout, it's a wonderful venue for meditation, yoga and discussion. Nearby there is a covered pavilion, ideal for active group exercise. You might also choose the freshwater pool, hot tub, and sauna to indulge in tranquil moments of relaxation. Just steps away, our private beach serves as a platform for swimming and snorkeling, as well as kayaking adventures around the island. Guests can choose from one of ten comfortable double rooms, each with a full private bath. Experience deep, restorative sleep under the cover of an inky night sky illuminated only by starlight, the ocean stirring a stone's throw away while birds trill gently in the trees outside.

To begin, we’ll plan a menu that satisfies your dietary requirements. Because we believe in nourishing the body as well as the spirit, fresh, whole foods, primarily grown and caught locally, are the basis of every meal. And all meals are included, in addition to fresh juice and coffee. So you can concentrate on programming your group's core activities, we can complement your program with a selection of services and activities. For instance, if you’d like we can arrange for massage therapy, capoeira and dance instruction, diving lessons or ecological tours.

Whether your goals are of the body, soul, mind, or the integration of the three, Gota do Mar can accommodate your needs. We welcome groups of ten to twenty guests for stays lasting from a week to a month. Because you’ll have the retreat exclusively for your group, you can cast distractions aside and direct your energy to finding balance, peace and understanding.
