Our family went down to Waldport to celebrate a big milestone this year and we rented the Oceanic Loop Beach House. We were not disappointed in the least! Everything from organizing the stay with Vacasa right down to the house itself was fantastic. We were so impressed with the house, it just felt like our home away from home. We will definitely be making this an every year tradition, great memories were made!

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

Another lovely visit

We love this rental house, and visit it with relatives at least once a year. This year as always it was clean, with comfortable furniture, plenty of blankets and towels, a nice selection of games and beach toys, a well-equipped kitchen, etc. About a one block walk to the beach. My kids love it here. See you again next year!

What a great place to stay! I wish we could have had more time there. Lots of room with a nice big open kitchen/dining area. I will definitely be back!

House was nice. I would stay there again. It really only sleeps 6 comfortably in beds. Other sleeping areas are 3 sofas (no hide-a-beds) and an old lumpy futon mattress that's in a closet. One of the 3 bedrooms is a converted sitting room with glass doors. No privacy. The description is a bit misleading as you cannot see the beach from the house. But, the beach is beautiful, hardly any people, and a short walk. House is equipped with everything. Nice place, but the description needs to be updated. I would stay there again. The nearby wifi and 'cafe' is a little convenience store. Not really an inviting place to sip and read. VACASA was amazing to work with!! I will go through this company again!!

We absolutely loved our vacation experience at this beach house. They have so much available to use we never had a chance to do everything. My wife and I and our 5 children had plenty of space to relax. The kitchen had all the amenities to cook just about anything. We are already making plans to come back as soon as possible, and probably more than once. The only drawback...... Because of the heat in the Willamette Valley the marine layer was pulled over Waldport for most of our stay. The weather in town did not cooperate with some of our plans. Very glad the house was as awesome as it was.

Great Central Coast Location

Our stay was for 7 nights and included 4 adults and 2 twin 8 year old boys. Just enough room for that combination of people. The house was in a great location for trips north to Depoe Bay and south to Florence. We did eat in several times, but ventured out for lunches. While our trips took us up and down the central coast we loved the little spot called "Newport Cafe" in Newport. By far the best clam chowder we have ever had. The weather was very nice for hanging out at all the beaches and crabbing at the local docks. We loved all the driftwood houses on our beach. Spoke to several different locals that were all very nice and really added a lot to our overall experience. Learning to crab on our own was a lot of fun and what a value having the crab pots in the garage. Also, got some good use out of the beach toys and lawn chairs. Stuff we didn't have to bring or invest in. The best tide pooling we found was at the Strawberry Hill pull out. This is located south on the way to Florence. Seals so close and a ton of sea life. Also, would recommend walking the Waldport Bridge. Saw many things you will never see from the beach or just driving over. Can not say enough about the house and the area. One of the best vacations this family has been on.

We really enjoyed our extended weekend at this house. Don't let the modest looks on the outside fool you. The inside is beautiful with everything you need to have a great family weekend. This will be the first place we look next time we want to stay in the Waldport area.

We were so very pleased with this experience. We weren't sure what to expect since this was our first beach house rental, but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The location was fabulous with a vert short walk to the beach and though the house is quite average on the outside, the location and charm of the inside was unbeatable. These folks have thought of everything! Comfortable beds, games, nice washer and dryer, every kitchen utensil/device you could need, raincoats, spices, you name it. The house was extremely clean and the Vacasa people were helpful through the process, which was very easy. I would recommend this place to anyone, even a large family will have plenty of room. We had 7 people and 2 dogs and never felt cramped. I also highly recommend Waldport as opposed to Newport if you prefer more privacy, less hubbub and a real coastal experience as opposed to the touristy trappings of other areas.

Perfect house to stay in for a few days on the coast. House was comfortable, cute and located close to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay there. I loved that the house had bikes, crabbing gear, raincoats and many other great things you want to have during your stay on the coast! I would highly recommend this place.

Great value for a comfortable, roomy home.

We loved this house. It was just like the pictures showed online. The home was neat & clean, and had everything we needed. The only negative was that we mistook the "satellite icon" online as having Wi-Fi. However we did call the rental company & they told us where to find "hot spots" & "internet cafes". We did find a place down the Road at the corner of Hwy 101 & NW Bayshore Dr, that has an internet cafe. We love the "garlic rolls" at the Pizza Factory in Waldport. They have a good selection of food there. Rays Grocery Store in Waldport is a close place to get groceries. Depoe Bay was a great place to go shopping. We have stayed in Seaside, Lincoln City, Newport, & Waldport. We prefer the laid back atmosphere of Waldport. We would recommed this home. We had a family of 5, including two adults, two teen girl's, and an elementary aged boy.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Last minute trip, husband is working on a job in this area and I decided to surprise him. I found this listing online and they were wonderful about arrangements so last minute. My husband and I felt at home the moment we walked in the door! It has everything could you possibly want or need, and we very much enjoyed our stay.

This is a very nice house and beautifully decorated. We were extremely comfortable and everything we needed, was there! The next time we are there, that is the place we want to be. VERY affordable, and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. I could not have asked for anything more!

Heaven on the Oregon Coast!

Our family of seven drove up from the California Redwoods earlier in the day, were a little tired, and were crossing our fingers that we could feel "at home" in Waldport. When the door was opened, my wife and five kids were whooping it up with excitement and wonder as they ran from room to room and LOVED what they saw. Beautiful interior, very inviting, super comfortable, and a massive, blowout, sea grass beach just over the berm. Our nine-year-old son slept on a super comfortable mattress in the closet of the one of the bedrooms. He'll NEVER forget it! We flew kites, played hide-and-seek tag amidst the sea grass and rolling sand, played tennis, cooked great meals, played games, and made quality family memories together. The home layout is perfect, inviting, cheery, colorful, and contains all the beach toys and games necessary to enjoy your time on the Oregon Coast. Our only disappointment -- we only stayed two nights. We should've stayed longer...

I just got back from a 5 day stay. Very comfortable, a nice little walk to the beach. Wonderful kitchen with everything you might need! We all loved it and will definitely be back!!

Wonderful vacation home!

This home is such a great deal! 3 bedrooms (1 of which has a queen sized futon) and a HUGE master suite with soaking tub and double sinks. The house has everything you would want, a huge living room, family room, kitchen, bedrooms and all the beach supplies you could need! We loved flying the provided kites, hanging out in the HUGE family room and walking only 1 block to the beach! Newport is only 15 miles north, and Florence not to far to the south for playing on the dunes! I would say the best rental for the price on the coast!

I rented this site unseen because of the reviews I read here. The risk paid off. What a great house. Very spacious and comfy. I felt like I was at home. My husband couldnt help but comment on what a great find I came across. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Take a chance, it will pay off. You never know what to expect when you rent but it had everything and then some.

We stayed in this lovely house with the whole family, that means 6 adults and 2 kids, for nearly a week. We had a wonderfull vacation. The house was a big surprise when we came in. We already rented a house once in Lincoln city an that was a less nicer experience. This house is really beautiful and cosy and very well equiped. Even nicer than the pictures tell us! (normely its the other way around). The owner does everything to make it easy for you. Espacially in our case, because we come from Holland. So this house is very recomendable!

This is a wonderful house. It is right next to the beach and is so well stocked for a weekend away. The owners are easy to work with too.

We booked our vacation here in July 2008 sight unseen and were pleasantly surprised that the home was much more than we had expected. The beds were very comfortable and cooking meals in the kitchen was better than cooking in my home--all the essentials and then some! We've stayed at a lot of beach houses in the past, and this one has the most personality! We felt so comfortable here; it was like staying at the home of a good friend. We loved using the crab pots and BBQ grill. The kids had fun playing the games provided and the garden tub was very relaxing. This place is great and we hope to return soon!

This is a really nice, well-stocked house with the added benefit of being very toddler-proof! 1 block to the beach too! We hope to stay here again.
