We spent a long weekend at the Tucker house to celebrate our anniversary & had an absolutley fabulous time there!! The house was clean, well stocked & cute as can be. We especially loved being able to see & hear the waves from the living room and while we enjoyed meals on the large screened porch. The beach was steps away & could not be any more peaceful & turquoise in color! One night we strolled to the bay side to stare at the full moon after we watched the sun set on the gulf side. Beautiful!! It doesn't get any better than this. We both wished we could extend the trip & were in no way ready to leave after 3 nights. We'll definately go back. Olga was a pleasure to deal with- super nice, and caring. She checked to make sure all was to our liking. A true paradise. Thank you!

I recently stayed at the Tucker home with my sisters and my mother. We had a wonderful time. The house is decorated very nicely. It is colorful, and was very accomadating. It was clean and well maintained. It was just as the pictures show on this site. We had beautiful sunsets EVERY night. The weather was a bit cool, but we improvised and were able to stay on the beach every day and enjoy the sunshine. My one sister spent hours on the beach hunting for shells. She/we found many different kinds. We even found lots of shark's teeth which was exciting. The tranquility and gentle pace on the island was refreshing and we were able to really enjoy each other's company without distractions. It was a great get-a-way for us. Three of us said we would return to the Tucker home vs Mexico because of the tranquility. Olga was very helpful and thourough to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This was great because we were a little nervous about getting there, etc. She gave us phone numbers and assured us that she was available if we needed anything. It was a GREAT experience for all of us and we thank you Olga for your hospitality.

My husband and I just got home from a lovely stay at Tucker's Retreat and we can't wait to be able to return for another stay, perhaps later in the season. The island is magical, the fact that everything is so laid back, it's like going back in time to an easier way of life. The home has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a seaside vacation, plus it is decorated in such a lovely way, with bright colors and comfortable furniture. It's clean, modern, supplied with lots of extras, and it all comes with the most awesome views! Olga is a great asset, she communicates readily and reliably, and makes sure all is as it should it be. We are so grateful that they shared their beach with home with us. Thank you, Paul and Colleen T.

My husband and I live in Florida and are frequent visitors to Little Gapsarilla Island. It may be cliche to say to, but it truly is a little slice of heaven on earth. We've stayed all over the island, but staying beach-front is the only way to go! Tucker's Retreat is situated so close to the beach that you can hear the surf crashing even with the doors and windows closed. The home is very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need to make your vacation dreams come true. We tried the Kayak kept under the house and loved it! What fun! The shelling on the island is always superb, but this time it exceeded even my expectations and I am something of a "shell snob"! It was spectactular! There's a wooden table under the house next to the hose that makes an excellent spot for cleaning and sorting your treasures. Tom and Olga Tucker are very gracious hosts. They were prompt in answering emails and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with everything, which we were! We will definitely rent Tuckers Retreat again!

We just came home from a wonderful 2 week vacation at Tucker's Retreat and wish we could go back tomorrow! The home is beautiful and extremely clean and well maintained. Staying right on the beach was awesome and the view is gorgeous. The house is very comfortable, bright, and airy and is decorated in a great island style. We loved the huge screened-in porch which was especially great for dining outside, and enjoying our morning coffee while watching the dolphins. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook all of our meals. Even the linens and towels were very nice and didn't feel like "rental stuff". The loft was great for our 11-year-old nephew, and our 3-year-old did fine with the stairs with an adult helping her. We greatly appreciated the pack-n-play and high chair that were provided for our 1-year-old. We also got a lot of use out of the beach toys, chairs, games, books, and movies that the house was stocked with. The owners were extremely accommodating, helpful, and very easy to work with. All of my emails and questions were answered very thoroughly and promptly. It was obvious that they truly wanted us to enjoy their home and have a great vacation and we felt like they would go out of their way to ensure that that happened. They made their home feel like our home. All in all, it was a wonderful experience! We would recommend this house to anyone and can't wait to go back!! Thank you Tuckers for sharing your beautiful home with us. We loved every minute of our time there. See you next year!
