Had a beautiful stay at your lovely home. The Redbuds and dogwoods were blooming. The owls were out and the sounds of nature were awesome. Loved being so close to the water. Will definately be back.... The Bjorn's

This home was perfect for our group of 6 to fit comfortably (3 couples) . We each had our own bath and bedroom. We sat on the screened porch at night and enjoyed the solitude. The house was stocked with what we needed for a quick 3 day stay. It was nicely decorated and the indoor seating was comfortable. The two rockers on the front porch were nice. I would not recommend pulling your boat to the house since it is down a steep one lane gravel road (we have a 23’ cuddy cabin boat). Additionally, we parked the boat trailor at the bottom of the driveway since the driveway too was very steep. There was no garage access for indoor parking but was covered parking under the deck. The cove is not on the property (as I had improperly assumed) and is shared (not “private”) with neighbors (who we found to be rather friendly) To get to the cove you go down the driveway and and around the bend; it’s a small little hike/walk (greater than 200’). You cannot see the water from the house (at least not when we were there --end of May). We do love Dale Hollow Lake and find the waters to be calm, clean and warm in late May. We kept the boat at Sunset Marina for $15 a night, slips are issued on a first come first serve basis (so arrive early, no reservations are accepted) and the restarant there has very good food. All the local restaurants in town had great food and wonderful prices. We will be back to Dale Hollow Lake.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home! It was a relaxing and spacious place for our three families to meet for a reunion. The screened in porch is amazing - - we spent tons of time there. The private cove was a fantastic place for the kids to swim, raft & kayak and a perfect place to bring the boat up to trade riders without having to go back and forth to the marina. One creek up from our cove had a fun rope swing from a tree and a beautiful waterfall at the end of the cove. This place is even better than the pictures portray it - - we will definitely be back!
