3BR Luxury "Kai Rumba" is a large, open-architecture waterfront villa in Cayman Kai facing southwest (sunsets) and offers a wonderful pool, large screened lanai and many sliding glass doors to the outside that can be opened in the winter when the natural trade winds can keep the house cool and comfortable.

Three large bed suites offer 3 "adult couple" rentals plenty or privacy - outdoor shower, tall vaulted ceilings, and plenty of living area in the great room.

Fully equipped kitchen, privacy on both sides and a restaurant/bar & marina within a 5 minute walk are great conveniences.

The famous Rum point Club (restaurant, water sports, bar and barefoot beach) is just a 5 minute bike ride away. Cayman Kayak Tours operates from the Kaibo Yacht Club just 5 minutes east by foot.

  • I stayed here for my first time last September and had a great experience. First, the location perfectly balances seclusion and accessibility. You are secluded from all the tourist traps of Grand Cayman, but can easily access anything that you could want, as restaurants and stores are well within manageable distance. Second, the house and amenities give you everything you could want in a vacation house. The house is well-maintained, the pool is ideal for a break from the ocean water, the kitchen, grill and screened-in dining area are perfect for an evening dinner, and there is even internet and a full range of tv stations. If you are truly looking to get away, I think this is the perfect house. I enjoyed my stay and would go back in a heartbeat. As referenced in the other comment, the sunsets on the beach are spectacular, and the area is so calm that you feel there are no distractions. There is even a pick-up for scuba diving if you are so inclined (and which I highly recommend). The convenience was truly a welcome surprise. Regardless, I feel no words can do this place justice. I highly recommmend this house at Kai Rumba if you are looking to get away.

  • I have stayed at Kai Rumba several times (5+) over the years and will stay nowhere else on the Island. The privacy and comfort of this house make it the absolute best vacation spot on GCM, and honestly is the best vacation rental Ive ever stayed in overall...and I travel a lot. This add doesn't do the property justice. For example, both lots on each side of Kai Rumba are empty creating even more privacy, and you can always see lobsters and starfish from the private beach. The whole layout of the house makes perfect sense for a romantic trip or a group of family or friends (great kitchen and completely socked with everything to make big meals if desired). (Tip - when you stay here, take a walk down the street to Ivory Kai Point and walk the point. Absolutely breathtaking and a 90 sec walk form the front door) Fast internet, great cable with all the chanels you get back in the states, great grill and kitchen and the house has been maintained wonderfully over the years. Highly recomended...oh and dont forget to take in the sunset form the beach every night. Can't wait to go back.
