The Banana Cabana is a two story, four bedroom, three-bath home. This stylish home features 10-foot ceilings, recessed spot lighting and decorator ceiling fans. The colors throughout the home are cheery and the decor is casual elegance. Breathe in the fresh Gulf of Mexico air, while rocking in the matching rocking chairs on the Victorian style, second-story 10-foot X 24 foot balcony.
Indulge yourselves with perfect vacation days at the Banana Cabana. Mix-up a batch of banana pancakes in the fully equipped kitchen. Get your beach gear and head down to the beach; use our provided wagon for convenient trips. Take your shoes off and waffle your toes in the sugary sand.
After enjoying a day at the beach, come back to let the kids hop in the private pool. Grill hot dogs and hamburgers on the high-end stainless steel grill. There are plenty of seats for everyone on the covered patio and separate trellis covered seating areas. So mix up a round of cold drinks and relax, you’re on Easy Street. End the perfect day with a good night’s sleep at the Banana Cabana.
All the bedrooms are located on the first floor because it is cooler downstairs in the summer and it makes the whole second floor the perfect family gathering place. Although we love all of our homes on Easy Street the Banana Cabana is one of our favorites. It definitely has the “Wow” factor. Pet Friendly – well behaved pets, not prove to shedding or damage, with responsible owners are welcome.

My wife Debbie and I started this business in 2002 because of the frustration we felt in trying to find Pet Friendly vacation accommodations. We have traveled with our pets for years. Some of the places we stayed were less than clean, and it was obvious by the smell that the accommodations allowed pets. We vowed when we started our vacation rental business that all of our homes would be pet friendly and all squeaky clean.
Other pet peeves (excuse the pun) is that many of the rental houses we stayed at did not have matching dishes or silverware or glasses and; the pots and pans were either dented, burned or missing. So we also vowed to include everything we could think of to furnish our kitchens including matching dishes, silverware, glasses, a full set of pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, and crock-pot. It now tickles us when we hear guests say they couldn't find anything we did not have.
We think you will find our prices very competitive to other rental homes, and we believe our quality and attention to detail exceeds our competition. I'm not referring necessarily to expensive furniture or furnishings, but rather to cleanliness, comfort and tasteful decorations; and not to mention our kitchens being fully equipped. The most common comment we receive from our guests is that our homes are much nicer than the pictures portray. The greatest compliment to our effort is the increasing number of repeat guests that have turned into great friends.

The Scali's have really thought of everything. They are gracious and attentive. This property is beautiful, perfectly clean, in superb condition and in a fantastic location. another home with no negative comments, unbelievable?????
Owner response:This guest was upset because we charged them a fee for writing on our walls with an ink pen. They never stayed at this house but are now leaving comments on other houses. What tickles me is that they couldn't find negative comments on any of our houses because up until them there weren't any. They are on our no rent list that I have shared with other rental companies in Destin.

Banana Cabana is a wonderful vacation rental! Clean, beautifully decorated, located in a nice safe community. The walk to the beach is a straight 2/10th of a mile walk to Scenic 98, cross over two lanes of traffic on 98 and you are right at the private entrance to the beach. The beach was beautiful! The Banana Cabana was the perfect vacation retreat for our family of 12. Everything we needed was provided in this beautifully decorated, well laid out house. The private pool and short walk to the beach provided our grandkids everything they needed for a wonderful vacation. This property was perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids)! The space inside was more then plentiful - we never felt crowded. The pool area was also spacious. The house is in tip top shape. The short walk to the beach was no problem. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well. We had a 5 star vacation thanks to the Banana Cabana!

Dear Rick and Debbie: Our vacation in beautiful Destin was absolutely capped by having the Banana Cabana as our home base! The kids and grandkids LOVED the pool, I loved the house and every thoughtful thing you put into it. We had all the room we needed, in a convenient location, and just hated leaving to go home! This was a perfect home for my entire family. Very clean, kid friendly ( everything I needed was there for my 3 year old triplets... including puzzles and games), great customer service. It is the perfect little distance away from the beach and the pool area was great for the entire family. We can't wait to come back next year!

To all who visit the Banana Cabana... You will not be disappointed. There were three families in our vacation...4 children ages 4, 3, 2, 1, plus two very rambunctios dogs. We had a great time, even with red tide and a day or two of rain. We played in the pool and shopped, and cooked, and ate. It was a very relaxing time, with very little to worry about. We, once again, had a great, relaxing week at the Banana Cabana on Easy Street. Rick and Debbie have created such a lovely home decorated with beautiful and modern decor. The private pool was a plus for us; and they even have all the pool toys for us too! The comfy wicker furniure on the front porch made for some very relaxing early morning reading. The men LOVED that big screen TV.
