My husband and I enjoyed this apartment with our 3 and 6 year olds at the end of a two week trip through France. We agree with all of the wonderful things that have been said about this property. Quentin was extremely professional, easy to work with and was always quick with communications. He was also very thorough and friendly in answering our questions at check-in. The location was perfect for walking to many areas including the Eiffel Tower. One of our favorite outings was walking around the corner (quite literally) to the Rue Cler markets to piece together small meals that we put together in the kitchen. We have already recommended this residence to our friends and family!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My daughter, her 6 month old old son and I shared this apartment on Rue Valadon in the 7 district of Paris. It was a wonderful spot, only minutes from the Eiffel Tower walking. Everything that we needed was supplied, large plush towels, great phone service (free calls to land lines in North America!), English news stations and an apartment with two separate rooms gave us lots of private time. The kitchen was well supplied including staples of spices, oil and vinegar and lots of pasta! Quentin was a great host and gave us his number if we had a problem. We only called once when the TV channels changed numbers on us and we could not find them any more - only in France. We would definitely highly recommend this rental to anyone wishing to rent in this area. We where around the corner from Le Cler Market so we stopped off every day to buy fresh produce - wonderful. Bus routes very very close and easy to navigate.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Paris is my favorite city, and I have stayed in many parts of this city. This flat is a great location. Walking distance to major sites, great restaurants and bakeries, everything you need. And the Metro station is just two blocks away. As long as you are good with climbing the stairs, this is perfect. Our niece who was studying in Paris stayed on the sofa bed a few nights and said it was also comfortable. We were traveling with friends and they preferred our place to their nice hotel. Perfect for sharing a little wine and cheese with friends before the next adventure. This will be our new Paris home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I recently spent a week in this property, and absolutely recommend it as an excellent place to stay during your visit to Paris. Working with Quentin to make arrangements was a breeze. When we arrived, Francois was there to greet us and help us settle in, including making certain that we could connect to the wireless network in the apartment, as well as providing helpful hints about the neighborhood and how to get around the city. First, the location is great. You will be in a neighborhood where Parisiens live and work, and not in an area primarily filled with tourists. A quick walk to the nearby Metro station, but also within walking distance of many of Paris's sights. To explore the city we walked to the Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Saint Germaine, Luxembourg Gardens, Place de Concorde, Orangerie, etc., etc. We also used Metro extensively from the local stop. Many excellent choices for dining within easy walking distance, from casual, to upscale, to brasseries. Local grocery stores and specialty shops allowed us to keep food in the apartment when we wanted to relax and nosh. Second, the apartment was great. While not large, there was plenty of room for the two of us, and it would also be large enough to accomodate three adults, or two adults and up to two small children. Do be warned that the 3rd floor in Paris is equal to the 4th floor in the US. Bottom line, we enjoyed the apartment and will definitely plan to return for our next trip to Paris.Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at the apartment at the end of our 5 week vacation. It was exactly as protrayed by Quentin. He met us at the apartment and warmly greeted us, answered all our questions and warmly wished us a wonderful stay. The apartment was perfectly located in Paris. We found ourselves walking all over Paris. Yes, the bathroom is small, but so are a lot of bathrooms in Europe! Hopefully, we will find ourselves returning to Paris, and hope to stay at the aparment again.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of four (including 14-yr-old son and 12-yr-old daughter) stayed in this flat for 3 days in early June. The location is superb - a block from the Rue Cler, a very English-friendly area near the Eiffel Tower, pretty quiet considering the bustle nearby. The service was even better - Quentin is fast, efficient, comprehensive and flexible in taking care of even rookie travelers' needs. Very reassuring if you haven't rented apartments before. The apartment is several flights up, but they are easily navigated. The apartment IS small, but efficiently designed - we slept two per room and that worked fine, though those who sleep in the living room must be strategic about bathroom access, which is through the bedroom. The only demerit I'd give is the (Ikea?) flooring squeaks at night. The beds were very comfortable, and the clothes washer is small and (in typical European fashion) very slow, but functional. We didn't use the small kitchen but the apartment is big enough for our family to eat breakfast bought nearby. All in all, a wonderful spot for a wonderful city.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The 20/22 Rue Valadon flat was a most plesant experience. My wife and I spent a wonderful week here in this excellently located apartment. It was clean and well maintained. Although we did not intend to "cook" during our vacation, the flat has a small kitchenette that would allow for reasonable self cooking ability for some meals. Utensils and pots and pans available. Microwave. Washing machine for laundry w drying rack only. Convenient to Metro for city access. The early street noises were a gentle alarm clock to start us on our days of exploration. Located centrally near wonderful Rue Cler, near the Eiffel Tower (a 10 min. walk), plenty of vegetable/fruit markets and places to buy bread and breakfast rolls, wine, cheese, convenience stores, and bistros...what a wonderful first time experience for us personally! The only draw back was the walk up of 4 floors..for those who are challenged with stairs it may be a question. Quentin's brother Francois and Marwa were helpful in assisting us with our luggage. We understand they have a new listing that is more easily accessed which may yet to be listed on VRBO. Highly recommended and was accurately described in VRBO listing. Merci !!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment, the neighborhood and the convenience to the metro were fabulous and were depicted on the web site very accurately. Three of us fit in the apartment very easily even though it is small. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and easy to make up. The street is quiet and felt very safe. We loved visiting the local boulangerie (bakery) every morning for our croissants. The local grocery store is just around the corner. Rue Cler was wonderful with all the cafes and shops. Nice to come home to after a full day of walking and site seeing. Quentin made sure he was available to answer questions while we were there and was also helpful in answering our questions prior to coming to Paris. I would return and would recommend this apartment to my friends and family.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This gem is located a few steps from the Rue Cler open market and a quick walk from the Paris Metro. The location was phenomenal and the apartment was well maintained and furnished. Quentin was extremely helpful every step of the way and despite this being our first overseas rental, I felt very comfortable dealing with him and his brother. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place in the 7th Arr.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
