A Great One-Night Stay

My new husband and I stayed in this apartment during our trip through Europe for one night. The apartment itself was very clean and nicely appointed. The views were pretty good and it was fun to say we were in an attic apartment. Bruno was very helpful in the planning process. The location is exactly as advertised...far enough away from the really toursity areas, but still in the heart of things. We loved having a washer available. I would gladly come back again. That said, there were a couple things that kept this from being perfect. 1. It was hot while we were in town, so we tried the A/C. It works, but only for the surrounding area...not all the way to the bedroom. No worries, we opened the windows and went to bed. Or so we thought... being a Saturday night, people were out late and/or having parties in their own apartments. Lots of noise from them until the early morning hours. Also, there was an ugly noise we heard throughout the night... Turned out to be a mama seagull with a nest RIGHT outside one of the windows. I think we're lucky we got out without damage. :) 2. The bathroom is fantastic, but there isn't a true shower. There is a showerhead positioned at about 3.5 feet up the wall. You can remove it and hold it to stand, but you'll probably need to sit or kneel (or just take a bath) to get clean. 3. The person who met us at the apartment only spoke Spanish. She was very nice and patient with my high school Spanish, but I think it's worth noting...come prepared. Thank you Bruno for a great stay!

We stayed in this apartment for 2 nights in May and really enjoyed it. It's on the top floor, so be prepared for some stairs, and the wood beamed ceilings, although quaint, do involve a lot of ducking, so keep that in mind especially if you're tall. Other than that, however the place is great. The furnishings are new, and modern and the bathroom is beautiful. It's walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, and the vapparetto stop, San Polo is not too far away.

We had a wonderful time in Venice recently which included our stay in this attic apartment. The views from the windows include rooftops, alleyways and churchbell towers. The apartment was quiet, clean, comfortable and seemed fairly recently renovated. Two issues - the ceiling is low in some areas and the water pressure for the bath was low - but they did not detract from the charm and location. Also, for the price this place was great. We felt like we were in the center of both residential living and top attractions. Rialto bridge was about 5-10 minutes walking distance. San Marco was 10 minutes further. Accademia, Ferrovia and Piazzalle Roma were about 15 minutes walking.

We had an excellent stay! The apartment is clean and very nicely styled. It is in a great location - really comfortable. There are only a few negative points I can think of at all. First, the apartment is on the top floor of the building, so there are a lot of stairs to get to the top. Besides carrying our luggage at the beginning and end of our stay, we really didn't mind, though. The walls are a bit thin, so the noise from the neighbors can be a little loud. But overall, our stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

Charming appartment very well located and communicated. Clean and comfortable, it has everything you might need. We spent five nights there and really enjoyed it. Pictures and descriptions in the web are very accurate. If you're tall be carefull, in certain areas the roofs are quite low. Its perfect situation made it very easy for us to visit Venice. We would recommend it without any doubt.

This apartment has a cable from the wall but NO television set as advertised. There is NO broadband internet and NO WIFI available, free nor for a fee as advertised. The floor in this old building is very thin and the downstairs neighbors play their television very loud from early in the morning until late at night. We had to ask them to turn down the TV three times! The apartment is very clean, well located, and warm in the cold winter weather. The views from the windows are nice. The kitchen has just two propane stove-top burners and no oven nor a microwave oven. Of course the water pressure is very low. There are quite a few stairs but not difficult. The mattress is on the floor and fairly comfortable. The double pane windows are very good to keep out the noise from the busy streets below and the cold wind outside.

We stayed there for more than a week. It was always easy, comfortable and casual. Everything was at place and well thought through. Especially I enjoyed the brightness and the views from the apartment, which is quiete rare in Venezia. We found everything as described and "molto ben tenuto". We would highly recommand this offer to other people and all our friends. Thanks Bruno!

Excellent accommodation if you don't mind ducking your head under the eaves and crawling into the bed! Bright apartment with a nice view over the rooftops. Very good location near restaurants, shops, and a supermarket, and within walking distance of all main sights. Booking was very easy and the owner provided accurate details of the location.

my husband and I enoyed our time in venice. The apartment was great! The trek to the top with luggage was challenging and the ceilings were low (not uncommon in roof top apartments) but the amenities, location and service was excellent! The decor is modern and comfortable. We will definitely contact Bruno again should we visit Venice. I think the private apartments have much more to offer than the hotels. We were able to go to the convenience store and stock up on antipasto and breakfast items. We meandered through the streets and found restaurants shops and bars easily. Right beneath the apartment are great boutique shops and it is is within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars & the vaperetto stop.

We had only few night but the place has a charme on his own league!! Very well position in the hearth of Venice has made our vacation very easy..... everithing was round the corner we got to see so much, in such of litle time!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a great location; the pictures and description is very accurate. It was warm and comfortable and close to everything. The only slight downfall is low water pressure, but that is to be expected in Italy. I would recommend this property and would stay again!

Bright, sunny beautifully decorated loft in Venice. Host provided exact directions and we found the apartment without any difficulty. Loft has everything you need for your stay, including travel books and maps. If you are tall - be prepared to duck in certain areas of the loft or risk bumping your head!

The apartment is exactly what it shows in the pictures: a very contemporary neat design, comfortable and clean. It is located in very good and safe neighborhood , surrounded by trattorias, cafes, and boutiques shop. It is only 5 minutes walking the vaporetto and traguetto stops. We love it!!!

Adorable, quaint apartment. Comfortable and exactly as pictures show. Perfect location and amazing way to see Venice and feel like you actually live there. Lots of restaurants, shopping close by and perfectly safe. I will absolutely stay here again.

This apartment is beautiful and in such a brilliant location. Its very easy to locate once on the Vaporetto from P.Roma and is a great central point for touring Venice. On our very first night staying here we took a walk following the crowds and shops and found ourselves at Rialto in no time. The same thing happened the next day when we headed out and found ourselves in St Marks Square without even looking at a map. In fact you can walk to everywhere in Venice from this apartment - its that handy!! I would recommend this apartment as a place to stay for all couples wanting a romantic break. Its perfect!! The only slight negative is that noise travels in this old building and the water pressure is not brilliant but then its Venice and not Vegas and it didn't effect our comfort at all.
