Welcome to Southern Comfort! You'll find there is no comfort like Southern Comfort. Southern Comfort was completely remodeled and professionally decorated in the fall of 2011, with new granite counter tops in the kitchen, new living room furniture, expanded paver driveway, and all new landscaping and fencing front and back.
This beach cottage has all of the comforts of home and then some. The comfortable living room is warm and inviting; it leads to the open kitchen and two eating areas. In addition to three accommodating bedrooms, there is also a bonus room with a trundle double bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room. there is plenty of room so bring the whole family, including Fido.
We have a fenced in yard for him. Once everyone is done fighting over which room they want, you can slip into your suit (bathing suit that is) and do a cannonball in the large private pool. As soon as the kids are tucked in for the night, Mom and Dad can go enjoy a romantic glass of wine and cuddle up in the very private hot tub on the screened-in patio.
After a few days of having the beach merely steps away from Southern Comfort, you'll find yourself contemplating how to tell the boss why you need to extend your vacation.
Clean, well behaved pets with responsible owners are always welcome.

I can't believe this is the same house, we stayed here last year and loved it, but now it's like a brand new house. Loved the new kitchen with granite counter tops, all new furniture, and "Miranda", our very spoiled dog even liked her new pet yard. Great job Rick and Debbie. We'll definitely be back, hopefully this summer. PS we all liked the hammock in the back yard too.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Southern Comfort lived up to its name! The house had everything we needed, and its location is ideal for shopping, long walks in the quiet neighborhood, and adventures at the beach.

Dear Rick and Debbie, Thank you so much for our vacation again. This is our third year and we have had a great trip every time. The house was clean. We loved having the fenced in yard for our dogs. We loved having the in-ground pool with the extra bonus of a hot tub. The hot tub was nice because we used it every morning early and at the end of each day. We liked having the golf cart. It was nice being able to use that on the side streets for getting items to the beach, going to restaurants or just shopping. We could not have asked for better weather. Sorry we did not get to do dinner with you guys this year, but next time we will. Thanks again for setting up the photo session with the dogs. We really enjoyed this trip and house. Great place to stay! We felt right at home the minute we arrived. Walking distance to the beach, privacy, what more can you ask for. The owners are very nice and understanding people, its not very often you come across such great people. We are definately planning another vacation there.

Southern Comfort was just that! Very nice home close to the beach in a very elegant neighborhood. This was our second stay with the Scali's and they have yet to let us down. The pool and hot tub were great! Leach Family Eubank KY
