This was our first visit to Puerto Rico and our stay at Ocean Sixteen was a wonderful experience for our family. The view from our 6th floor corner villa was beautiful. The complex was quiet and the infinity pool was our favorite place to relax.(Since it was July and off season, we were often the only family in the pool area.) The villa was clean and well equipped including the baby crib we requested. We had occasion to use the optional maid service and were extremely pleased with the quick response and efficient service. Our family would return to this property and would encourage our friends to enjoy a stay here. We were sorry to leave after this week in paradise!

I would definitely recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to vacation in Puerto Rico. This four bedroom villa was immaculately clean, had white crisp bed linens and plenty of towels for both shower and beach use. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, various size pots and pans, toaster, blender, coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave - to say the least, it had everything we needed for our 7-night stay, and then some. Our first impression upon entering the condo, took our breath away. Beautifully appointed with art work, tile flooring, granite counter tops and very comfortable furnishings. The view from the very large patio was amazing, and we spent a lot of our time just sitting out there and enjoying the scenery as well as listening to the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore line. So peaceful. We liked the privacy afforded us in the pool area especially since we had to keep a good eye on my 2 year old grand daughter. The grounds and pool were well maintained and clean. The security guard came by when we were at the pool one day, just to make sure everything was okay and we weren’t having any problems. He was very polite and left as quickly as he came. We felt very safe staying at this Villa. We used the spa facilities at the Hotel, and they were wonderful. We also went to the Casino in the Hotel and as they say: “we won some, and we lost some”, but it was fun. We ate at many of the local restaurants, rather than cook in the unit or go to the hotel restaurants. I especially liked the skirt steak that was served at the restaurant (can’t remember the name) but it was where they have the horseback riding, ATV’s, etc, Location: You turn right off Rt 3, just past where you would have turned left onto #968 for Rio Mar. That was their specialty and it was delicious! We did go into San Juan for a day and another day went to El Yunque. But we mainly stayed at the resort, and relaxed. Xavier, the owner, was great to work with in making all the arrangements for this memorable family vacation, which included: my daughter & her eldest son (on college break), my son, his wife and their 2 year old daughter, and of course, my husband & I. Next year we hope to bring more of my daughter’s family (her husband stayed home with her other 2 boys). My whole family would highly recommend this 4-bedroom Villa to anyone. Hope to return next year!

We stayed in this 4 Bedroom Villa. It was beautiful! The views were fantastic, the villa was modern, comfortable and well maintained with all we needed. The grounds were well kept and we had access to all resort amenities. There is a grill by side of the building to barbecue if you like. The hotel is a short walk away with a casino and nightlife. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and definitely would return. Luis, Xavier's employee, met us and was always available. I highly recommend this Villa at the Wyndham

We had a very nice stay at your 4 bedroom villa. There were 5 adults and 3 teenage boys in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us. The view of the beach and coast line from the balcony was beautiful. Spent our mornings and evenings sitting there relaxing. The villa was very clean. Location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do. Played golf 3 times and found the courses to be challenging and in very good condition. One note juniors under 16 play "FREE". If we ever come back to PR we would definitely stay here again.

Since a general description has already been provided, I will limit myself to recommend the facilities, the staff and the owner. Renting the property was very easy and safe. After comparing various options, this one turned out to be the most professionally managed. It was a good first impression. I arrived there with my four sons as planned and was received warmly by the concierge who helped set us up without being intrusive. One of the things I most enjoyed was the trust demonstrated to my family by leaving us to enjoy the Villa without having to check up on us, unless we called for some reason. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could post a picture of my (adult) kid's faces when they entered the apartment and explored the facilities. Having stayed at this Villa enhanced our vacation in Puerto Rico.

My husband and I traveled to Puerto Rico with our 3 kids (16, 12, and 10) and had a GREAT trip. Renters of this villa do have full access to all resort restaurants, golf, tennis, pools, etc. within the resort property, which is perfectly manicured and gorgeous with views of both the beach and the rainforest. Our villa was clean, with a very modern feel (granite countertops, stainless appliances, marble floors throughout, modern bath fixtures). The bedding was white, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of towels. Huge master shower had amazing view of ocean. Flat screen TV's were nice for family movie nights. Very large ocean balcony. There was a nice washer/dryer--very handy. The walk to hotel was okay, but the pools and beach at the hotel were fairly crowded, so we preferred the villa pool and beach area which were quiet and more private. (Yes,though you CAN use the hotel pools, there are separate pools for the villas--not huge, but very nice infinity pools with cabanas, right by the beach and with nice restrooms.) The only restaurant within the resort we tried was the pool/beach cafe, since we opted to eat at local restaurants and out of our kitchen. Our favorite meal was at Richie's up the hill from the resort--breathtaking view and the food was excellent--I recommend the pineapple rice with shrimp! Glad we rented a car (parking space is free with the villa)--drive is about 25-30 min from San Juan airport and it was easy to go to grocery store (about 5-10 min west of resort called Amigo). A superquick drive into El Yunque for GREAT hiking. Drove to Old San Juan for a day which was VERY worth it! Did Biobay tour in Vieques (with Island Excursions out of Fajardo) and horseback riding at (Carabali). All within very easy drives. We were scheduled to stay Fri through Tues of our 1 wk trip and did check out on Tues to spend the rest of our trip at a place in the rainforest. Got to said place and were very disappointed, so checked out of there on Wed and called to find out if we could get back into same Villa for rest of the week. Xavier was so accommodating and after allowing us to get in to the Villa on an hour's notice to put our groceries back in the refrigerator, they made sure it was cleaned with fresh linens for us,and welcomed us back. Thx!

Because it was still available shortly before we arrived, we were upgraded to this one of a kind, spacious villa for a modest fee. It is in the set of white buildings farther down the road from the older, lower Ocean Villas. Our arrival didn't start off well as we arrived there in the morning but couldn't check in until after 3 pm (had to be cleaned). We had to hang around the pool area for a few hours. When we got into the villa, it looked like it had been cleaned rather quickly and not thoroughly -- the floors could have used some mopping, the tubs could have been scrubbed (still a grimy bath ring), the glass tables and windows could have been wiped down better, and the sheets were stained (not sure if these could not even be washed off, but I washed them anyway with bleach before sleeping in them). I expected better cleanliness and quality (a bit run down, cracks in the plaster, burned out light bulbs, layer of filth on the a/c and bathroom vents) upon check in, but it's a vacation rental and for the reduced price, it was tolerable. The best part of the villa is its location, the adjacent pool area (one shallow and one deeper pool) is fabulous and a great place to hang out with plenty of chairs, chaises, and umbrellas. Beyond the pool area is the beach (brown fine sand) that provides good walking and beachcombing activities. From the villa we took daytrips to Old San Juan, El Yunque, and original canopy tour. Rush hour traffic however is horrendous -- lots of traffic lights between Rio Mar and the toll highway to the Airport/San Juan. There's an Amigo supermarket a few miles on the left before the Wyndham turnoff from the main highway and another one on the right (behind the Walgreens) past the turnoff in the town of Luquillo. The best excursion by far is the luminescent biobay tour to Vieques from Fajardo (East Island excursions) -- what an experience! For dining, we recommend King's Seafood in Luquillo (good prices and food) and Richie's farther up the hill from the Wyndham (good lively atmosphere, good food but more pricey). We tried the Luquillo kiosks (La Parilla and the Italian one) but didn't find them necessarily worth the price. All in all a good trip and the villa provided a good base for exploring PR if you don't want or need to be closer to San Juan. The outside amenities the villa offered (pool and beach) are excellent, but the villa itself in terms of cleanliness and quality is not worth the full rates they charge.

I just got back from a wonderfull 7 night stay at this property and can't wait to go back (my husband and I are already looking at the calendar for next year!). First of all, the pictures in the listing are very nice but once you get there it is even nicer. We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children and the place exceeded our expectations. This villa is new and it looks like a great interior designer decorated it, although we frankly spent most of our time in the large terrace with breathtaking views of the beach. You can even see the beach while taking a shower in the master bathroom! The kids were equally impressed with all the plasma TVs (there is one in every bedroom and in the living room). We equally enjoyed the pool and beach area which were well maintained and very relaxed in comparison to the main hotel pools and beach area which alway seemed crowded. The resort also provided different activities that would keep entertained anyone in the family ranging in ages from 4y/o to 67 y/o! Thanks Xavier for a memorable vacation!
