During season, volley ball on the beach as well as kayaks and canoes. Two beach chairs and umbrella provided daily during season (March-October) . The condo is exactly what is listed and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The pictures and details listed are precisely what you will get. Everything is in excellent shape/condition. The beds were comfortable, the TVs in both bedrooms were awesome and it was very clean! When we arrived the cleaning lady was still there and she let us know when we could come back and enter the condo. It worked out great. I would recommend staying at this condo to any friend or family member going to Destin. We went to Pompano Joe's for lunch one day and it was delicious and had an awesome view. We also went to Johnny Rockets (recommend), McGuire's (neat atmosphere, but poor service) and Buster's Bar & Grill (recommend). We also went shopping at the Outlet Mall to take a break from the sun and heat one day and we found several options for shopping. We were there over the 4th of July and there were fireworks several nights and they were spectacular. There were several things to do in the Commons and on the Harbor due to the holiday.

We chose Maravilla for their pet-friendly policy first, and secondly for the free beach-setup included in the price. We rented through VRBO with Jim and Sherry and found the unit in great shape and larger than it looked in the photos. This unit is on the fourth floor and conveniently located near the elevator but not where you would have a lot of foot traffic which is perfect. The laundry room in the condo has a full-size brand new washer and dryer, which was very nice compared to a lot of condos with the stackable units. Lots of beach toys, boogie boards, etc. in the unit to use. Large balcony with two tables and a lounger. The beds are very comfortable, large flat screen TV's in both the bedrooms were really nice. I brought my own reading material for the week, but they had so many great paperbacks in the unit that I never cracked open my Nook! It was really nice just walking over to the beach and having two chairs and an umbrella ready and waiting for us, I saw so many people lugging chairs and umbrellas across 98. Our only minor complaint was with the curtains - although lined in the master bedroom, they just didn't block out enough of the sun when it came up at 6 am. But with a dog that needs to go out we wouldn't have slept much later anyway! The fitness center at Maravilla is small and only open M-F from 9a - 5p, so we walked along Scenic 98 every morning and got in a couple miles with beautiful scenery instead. There was always plenty of parking available no matter what time of the day or night. The complex is within walking distance to Pompano Joe's, right on the beach with great food and happy hour specials. We enjoyed Maravilla and look forward to staying here again.

The master BR has triple sliders, opening on both ends, we had to decide which side optimized the ocean view and it was the one beside the bed, hence the reason for the small light intrusion , as they open from that side.. We very much enjoyed our extended weekend stay at your condo. It was very well decorated and comfortable. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunsets. Thank you for being pet friendly and for your hospitality. We will visit this unit again, as it was very clean and accomodationg.
