Owner Description
Together over 40 years, we're a work-hard, play-hard couple from Illinois who enjoys summers along the Mississippi River. But when the weather turns bad, we escape to Siesta Key. We purchased this home away from home in 2008 and spent a year renewing everything inside and out. We have three grown children and two grandchildren and they couldn't be happier about our new family paradise!

recently stayed two weeks at this wonderful rental. Very clean, nicely decorated, stocked well with all needed supplies. Just bring your clothes. Close to everything. Nicely landscaped. Owners and leasing company reps all very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, toys, & carts to get it there for both units. Heated pool, gas grill, patio furniture all nice, too. Great place for two families to stay. Our friends stayed in the lower unit at this same time and loved it, also. Can't wait to book our next stay here!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.

We are a family from Germany with 2 grown-up boys and enjoyed our stay in this accommodation very much: it is furnished with all you need to spend pleasant holidays and is located in an area where you can reach a fantastic beach, a deli, post-office and several restaurants by walking. Questions we had in advance have been answered directly by the owner and later by Kathy from the VRBO office. They all were very helpful and kind. We would recommend this property and hope to have the opportunity to come back one day.

This house was perfectly located to be in town and close to all the shops and restaurants and one easy block to the beach. There is a wheeled cart that you can bring to the beach which makes it all easy. You are directly across the street from the grocery too! The pool is shared with the other unit but usually everyone is at the beach so its very quiet. Would stay again! wont need a car for anything.

I almost hate to give this home such a great review because I'm afraid it won't be availlable for us to rent when our time come's (yearly if not twice/three times a year). The owner's made their home very welcoming to us. The decor, appliances, beds/bedding, wireless internet, beach chairs, pool, outside grill/table/chairs and most of all, the cleanliness of this home made us not want to search for any other. You are 1 block and over beach road to the beach. Access #5 which was perfect for us as we would not like public beach all the time. We like the quieter beach area but the ability to walk to public beach if we wanted to. The village is just 1 block away and we rarely used our rental car. You won't be dissapointed in this home.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
