This house is truly a hidden gem in a wonderful vacation setting. Relax on the sand and enjoy the tropical Gulfstream waters at the end of the street. This single family home is less than a block from the beach, and is conveniently located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach. Go out the front door and the Intracoastal Waterway is a short walk to the left, the ocean a short walk to your right! The nearby Hollywood Broadwalk offers 6 miles of amazing coastline where you can walk, run, bike, roller blade or simply stroll on this car-free path. You can enjoy the shops, restaurants and live entertainment at the Johnson Street outdoor theater or visit Hollywood's Downtown District.
Bike, jet ski and kayak rentals are all available locally. And you can go fishing, either off the Dania Beach Pier or on a drift boat in the neighborhood.
Fort Lauderdale Airport is less than a 10 minute drive, Miami Int'l Airport about 30 minutes. The house is convenient to Landshark/Dolphin Stadium where the 2010 Super Bowl will be held, and it's only a short drive to malls, outlets and upscale dining/shopping on Las Olas Blvd. and in Aventura. Gulfstream Horse Track & Casino, Mardi Gras Casino/Hollywood Dog Track, and the Hard Rock Casino are also nearby.
This private beach house is located on a quiet, one-way street with a tree-lined brick sidewalk for your short walk to the beach. House sleeps 5-6 in: one bedroom with private bath and queen bed, one bedroom with queen bed, Florida Room with twin bed, and available twin roll-away bed. There is a wonderful private backyard patio for BBQ's and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, stove, refrigerator and toaster oven. Another bonus feature is plenty of off-street parking right in front of the house.
