This home has ample room for relaxation and enjoyment. Located in the gated community of Truman Annex, you can walk to all major attractions including the vibrant nightlife of Duval Street, the sunsets of Mallory Square, and the beautiful beaches of Fort Zachary. Fully equipped with air conditioning, kitchen, washer/dryer, linens, WIFI, DVD/TV, stereo, gas grill, and a covered parking space. French doors open onto the pool and sunny deck. Large windows, high ceilings and restful tropical colors make this a cheerful and welcoming home.
Upstairs is the master suite with it's own private bath. Additiionally upstairs is the 2nd bedroom with a queen sized bed and 3rd bedroom with 2 twins beds, both of which share a full bathroom. Downstairs is the 4th bedroom with it's own full bath. All bedrooms have their own personal TV's along with a TV in the main gathering area.

Had our family vacation hear and everything was as described. The owner was very quick at answering our questions. The home was very clean and large enough for the seven of us. Location was close to all the action on Duval and just a short walk to the sunsets at Mallory Square. In addition to the pool at the house we used the larger pool at the end of the street It had a shallow end that the grand kids enjoyed. Rented a car and drove to the Dolphin Rescue Center on Marathon Key on our only cool day. I would recommend this to anyone with young childeren as it was an unbelievable experience. If you’re looking for a place that will accommodate large families this is it.

Location ... LOTS of space ... everything in working order ... photos in advance that truly reflect what's there ... a superb quiet neighborhood (but three blocks from "the action") ... off street parking ... there's almost nothing else we could have asked of this rental. From the welcome and accomodating first contact on the phone with the owner to everything working precisely as advertised and advised, this was a gorgeous week-long rental. We were two couples and one single lady (and a visiting mother-in-law) and all recommend it highly. Due to the house's location, we could split up and some walk to town while others drove to the beach without a problem. Restaurants, groceries, drugstore are all within easy walking distance. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/plates/etc. The TV's in every bedroom and the living room worked perfectly. Everything was clean and neat as a pin. And lounging in the back yard and pool was amazingly private being just off a cul-de-sac road. (We did a lot of lounging!) The Truman Annex IS the place to be and Key West Charm is a great choice of a rental home in it.

Our group of 4 adult couples rented this property during Key West's fabulous Fantasy Fest celebration. It couldn't have worked out better. The house was very clean, comfortable and in excellent condition, with very few minor signs of wear. It is roomy enough for 8 adults and extremely well equipped inside and out. Everything in the listing (and more) was provided, plentiful and in quality condition. Truman Annex is a beautiful community and this house is very conveniently located to all Old Town Key West attractions, Duval Street, Mallory Sq. and Ft. Zachary Taylor St. Park. The owners were fantastic to deal with. Very fair & accommodating. One issue we had with the pool filter was rectified within a couple of hours. We wouldn't hesitate stay here again and highly recommend it. The home gave us a safe, wonderful, relaxing respite from the outrageousness of the festival.

We just returned from our summer vacation and it was FABULOUS! This is the perfect house for many reasons! It's location is amazing--you can walk to all of Key West's attractions. After spending the day snorkeling it was fantastic to come home and grill our dinner while the kids relaxed in the pool. The covered patio for dining was terrific too! The house is maintained beautifully and it is loaded with all of the amenities of home. Beach towels, linens, pool rafts, dishes etc... We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a week then in the comforts of this home. Thank you so much for sharing your home--we will be back!!:)

My family of three rented this house with two other couples. Seven total staying in house. Plenty of room and privacy. It was great being so close to the action but yet being tucked away in a beautiful private gated community. I would stay here again if we ever return to Key West. The owners were very easy to work with and answered all our questions in a timely manner.

We rented this house for my daughter's wedding so my family could all stay together. The house was very comfortable and large enough for 8 of us which included 3 married couples, 1 two year old and another adult. There was ample room for wedding preparations and bathrooms were never an issue.Beds were comfortable and the property is very clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool was very relaxing and enjoyed by all especially at night. The house is a wonderful central location for friends, family, & deliveries. House is so centrally located to everything we never needed to use the car. Anything one could need is definitely within walking distance. The Truman Annex is a beautiful gated secure community - we felt very safe walking back to the house at night from Duvall Street. The owners are very customer service oriented and friendly. Emails and questions were always answered in a very timely manner. Upon our return trip to Key West, we would not hesitate to rent this property again.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time in the Key West and your home exceeded our expectations! The house was spotless, the rooms very spacious and comfortable, and the private pool area was the perfect location for a quick dip in the pool and a quiet evening cocktail after a busy day taking in many wonderful attractions - all within easy walking distance! Everything was perfect and the location was fantastic! ... we'll certainly be planning heading back there in future. All in all a fabulous vacation and thank you so much for the info kit which really helped us see the highlights of beautiful Key West! We are looking forward to our next trip!

Our stay in Key West was a pleasant experience. The owners are pleasant to deal with, the apartment was as advertised. It is very clean, the bathrooms are in good shape and the towels are plenty and of good quality. The kitchen utensils, dishes and silverware are of good quality and in good shape. For the furniture I can say the same. Overall I can recommend the property for people with upper end expectations like CEOs and upper level management. With a little TLC (some spots where the wallpapers peel off, paint peeling off around air condition outlets or the outside fans in dire need of cleaning) the property would be perfect. The location is perfect for Key West vacations, walking distance to everything but reasonably quiet. However, if you are looking for quiet, relaxing vacations in a tropic atmosphere, there are better places than Key West. There is noise from people coming home late, airplanes on final approach to Key West, garbage collectors, wood shredders, leaf blowers and so on. If you want the Key West action with everything in walking distance but still a relatively peaceful high end place to stay with four bedrooms, this is the place to be!

The location of this home is perfect. Close bike ride to the beach, walking distance to town and all the amenties you would need. The Pool was a welcoming retreat after a long day out in the sun. We enjoyed all of the owners recommentions in the unit- they were right on the mark and made our daily adventures quite fun! We enjoyed going to Dante's on Caroline street for some pool time with a fun DJ...my teenagers enjoyed that one The home was well equipped with anything & everything...basically all you needed to pack was your swim suit, shorts and sun-block. Enjoy!

Best Ever Vacation at Key West

We just returned from our annual family vacation. It consisted of myself, my sister and her husband, my son and his girlfriend, and my daughter, her husband and two toddlers. The house was the perfect setting. It accommodated us all very comfortably and provided us all with all of the privacy we needed. We loved the bedrooms and all of the balconies. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and glassware. We spent a lot of time outside soaking in the pool. We barbecued often and were able to eat outside on the patio. The best part of all is the LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Truman Annex is pretty densely populated but you never see or hear anyone. It is very private and quiet. It is a hop, skip and a jump to Duval Street and Mallory Square. We even were able to walk to the beach a couple of times. All in all it was a perfect vacation and we will certainly make a special effort to stay in the townhouse the next time we visit Key West.
