The "Bon Fir Cabin" is a beautifully restored 1930's cabin located in the foothills of Mount Hood. It is just 43 Miles from the Portland airport, less than a mile from the Mount Hood Wilderness Area, and a three minute walk from the Zig Zag River. The original native fir floors, cedar siding and vaulted ceiling throughout help it retain it's historic charm. The cabin is fully equipped with a modernized kitchen, cozy wood stove, a queen bed, and a four person hot tub. The Bon Fir sits on a large wooded lot with plenty of room to relax.
The cabin has only one bedroom with a queen bed. Also, the couch in the living room pulls out to a surprisingly comfortable queen hideabed. The bathroom has a full-size front loading washer and dryer, and an antique clawfoot tub with a shower. The four person jetted hot tub is built into the deck to soak your bones after a long day of fun.
NO Pets or Smoking - Please be respectful of our guests who may be allergic.
We now have free WiFi. No password needed.

This was a great getaway from the Texas heat of over 100 everyday for the past 30+ days! This cabin is very cozy & had everything we needed! Was pleasantly surprised to find that our laptop had a connection! Very comfortable bed. Only one thing I would suggest for the shower, a rack up high to hold shampoos etc. We went on nature walks through the woods, was great! Enjoyed the cabin a lot!! Thank you!

We needed a getaway to de-stress & get some R & R. Bon fir was Super Cozy - we went on some nice hikes, cooked a few fabulous meals, soaked in the hot tub(!) and got plenty of sleep. The Skyway is VERY GOOD - the BBQ tofu, mac & cheese, & beets are highly recommended. A few missing items that might have made the stay even better: deck chairs, bedside lamps, cheese grater. All in all a very nice getaway. Owner Comment: We now have deck chairs and bedside lamps. I'm still working on getting a cheese grater... :)

We celebrated our 4th anniversary and had a wonderful time! The cabin is cozy and we enjoyed the hot tub. Even though there were showers throughout the weekend we were able to still go on a couple hikes. Ramona Falls is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your cabin; it is a nice weekend get away!

Two New Yorkers in a row! We loved the overall feel of the cabin, rustic & natural yet adorned with modern conveniences. The cedar smell was very welcoming + the decor was perfect. It was a great place to spend memorial day weekend & my birthday.

The Snowbuggy out back says hello - and goodbye! This cute little place is nice to come back to when you are all wet and tired from tubing at Mount Hood. The best part is that it's so close! In the time that we were here there was not a lot of snow but we enjoyed it all the same. After all, it is March!

We made a snow lady-bug in the backyard, but you can hardly tell what it is now. It is so peaceful and calm. You might want to check the microwave. I really enjoyed the down quilt. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Thank-you so much for a cute and cozy place to stay! Your cabin is a nice place to come visit to get away from the bustle of Lake Oswego.
