Welcome to Northshore Beach in Slidell LA. This home is located on Carr Drive, off Hwy 11. It has a deck that overlooks Lake Pontchartrain. Renters have access to a public beach, which is a short walk away from the home. It has a boat launch for boats.
This is a fully furnished home, consisting of two bedrooms and a loft. Each bedroom has a queen size bed which connects to a full size bathroom. The loft has two full size beds with a half bath.
The home has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, fireplace, bar with icemaker, and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. It also has satellite TV, which includes movie channels. All linens and bath towels provided.
The living room has a full size sofa, love seat and futon. The futon also converts to a sleeper.
Parking is available for multiple cars, RV's and boat trailers. The home has a fishing and crabbing pier. Boat rental is available and fishing charters can be arranged. There is plenty of shopping and local restaurants nearby. Many restaurants and bars can be accessed by boat or by car.
The home is a great place for family vacations. It can also be used for weekend getaways. Perfect for fishing, hunting, boating or just relaxing. This is a non smoking home.

We stayed at this home during the second week of Jan 2012 to attend a conference in New Orleans. We were a little apprehensive about the drive since some of the sessions were at 7:30 a.m., but the commute was straight through via I-10 and well worth it. My parents and sister stayed at the house during the day to babysit our kids and every evening when we got home, no one wanted to get out and go sight seeing in NOLA! We were all very comfortable there and my parents are looking forward to returning soon. It was too cold to enjoy the outside while we were there, but I can only imagine how nice it is to have dinner on the huge deck. We will definitely be back, we've stayed in New Orleans the last few times I've had to do business there, but this was our best trip by far.

Can't explain how beautiful this place is, you have to see it in person. The pictures are beautiful but do not do this house or its view justice. House was beautiful and well maintained, had everything we needed. The owner of the magnificant home is very friendly and extremely accomodating, we are definitely looking forward to renting his home again. The wildlife and serenity experienced is well worth the price to rent this home.

THIS PLACE FEELS LIKE HOME AND DAVID MAKES YOU FEEL THAT IT IS YOUR HOME. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO WITH THE BEACH BUT ESPECIALLY IF YOU LOVE TO CRAB AND FISH AS WE DO. Our stay was fabulous as my family and I came in from Atlanta to see our neice graduate from Xaiver University. The house was beautiful (as well as surrounding homes) and exactly as pictured in the postings. We brought 3 grandkids along who loved the large yard, the pond out back and the beach behind the house. Slidell is located just across the bride from New orleans - only about 15-20 minutes. Very convenient. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. Thanks David - for your great hospitality.

My friends and I spent 4 days at this wonderful home right after Mardi Gras. We shucked oysters, bar b qued redfish, and went fishing every day at the trestles. David (the owner) was very nice and the place was more than I expected. The private dock was great and the fact that we could put the boat in right behind the house was awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone who was considering renting in Slidell.

My family members from Houston, New York and Lexington, KY thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. The grandchildren were facinated by the experience of catching crabs and then eating them. It was close enough to the city for us to visit relatives there and for them to visit us. We would highly recommend this home for family gatherings.

Want to thank David for letting us use his place. We had a great time and would recommend it to anybody interested. Crabs were biting good, we caught 5 and 1/2 dozen and ate every one of them! The house and grounds were very nice and we want to say again that we enjoyed every minute of our stay there.

Fantastic large house. Great waterfront location with close proximity to the lake. Caught a lot of excellent crabs off of the dock. Perfect for water sports and fishing on the lake.
