Experience the past and enjoy the present in this magnificent 2 story, 8,000 square foot hacienda. The casa has been fully restored to a modern day facility, while keeping the integrity and warmth of the original casa. This spacious home has a large living room, large dining room that seats 14, a breakfast room/bar, commercial fully equipped kitchen, an interior courtyard with jetted pool and gas barbecue, and a bathroom on the first floor. The second floor has a lounge area with reading library, high speed Internet, WI-FI, a Vonage phone with free long distance calling, and 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning, a safe for valuables, small refrigerators (except room 5), coffee makers and beds with luxury linens. The casa has 4 bedrooms each with 1 king bed, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds. Additionally, there are two twin size EZ beds available. The casa will comfortably sleep 14 people.
You can lounge on one of the two terrazzo's located on the second floor at the front and rear of the house, or, on the rooftop terrazzo which has a spectacular view of the ocean and Mazatlan’s beautiful sunsets. There is a total of 1500 square feet of terrazzo space. The large front terrazzo overlooks the Art Museum and is perfect for evening gatherings.
Casa de Leyendas is located in Centro Historico, the cultural center of Mazatlan. Only 200 feet from the beach, 4 short blocks from the Plazuela Machado and directly across the street from the Art Museum. Olas Altas (tall waves) is known for its surfing, boogie boarding, or just relaxing beach time. You can take a leisurely walk or bike ride along the Malacón which stretches 4 ½ miles along the beach to the Golden Zone. The Plazuela has a European flair with open air restaurants, the Angelo Peralto Theater and lots of local flavor. Stroll the narrow streets, shop the local artists and enjoy the historical architecture of Centro Historico. We are located within walking distance from the Cathedral, Central Market and shopping. The spa is located only 4 blocks away, where you can pamper yourself for an hour or a day. Or, we can bring in one of our local masseuses for you to enjoy a relaxing massage in the privacy of your room.
Daily maid service is included with your stay. The casa is equipped with an advanced purified water system that allows you to enjoy pressurized and safe drinking water throughout the entire home.
