This charming apartment, in a late 19th century building, is located in a cul de sac of a traditional Parisian neighborhood in the Montmarte 18th arr.
The entrance is through a cheerful, welcoming hall. There is an interphone.
This spacious and beautifully decorated studio has three separate rooms; a full size bathroom, kitchen and the living/bedroom area.
The very large living room/bedroom area is spacious and light with 10 ft. high ceilings and two large windows.
Set to one side, nearly in its own alcove and looking over the rest of the space, is the extremely comfortable double bed. The bed offers a pure, vegetable latex mattress - almost guaranteeing a good night's sleep. A full sized couch opens into another double bed.
An Art Deco desk sits on a pedestal and ingeniously opens into a dining table for four! The desk area is perfect for entertaining or for you writers who yearn to have an artistic, atmospheric area in which to work on the next great novel - or those who just need a place to spread out all of your guide books and maps.
There is a large armoire and a hand painted Indian chest.
Another large window brightens up the small, fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen has an additional table that seats two or 3 can actually manage using a stool. The range is electric with 4 burners and a wonderful convection oven.
And, to store those lovely bottles of wine, containers of pate and other specialties purchased from the neighborhood shops - the kitchen even has a full size refrigerator with freezer.
The full size bathroom has a tub and space to really move around - and also feels more spacious because of the light brought in from the large window. The washer/dryer combination is in the bathroom as well.
Free Internet use and FREE International calls to the United States, Canada and some other European countries is included.
The television receives cable/satellite programming - which means CNN and a couple of other English-speaking channels. There is also a clock radio.
The neighborhood offers residents many cafes, small restaurants and every imaginable kind of specialty food shop. There are butchers, bakers, cheese, chocolate, and produce shops in every direction.
Though the neighborhood makes you feel as if you are in a small village - you are only 10 minutes from the Garnier Opera House or Sacre Coeur and only 20 minutes from St. Germain by bus.

*Visitor information is left in the apartment for your use. An English-speaking caretaker will arrange to meet you upon your arrival. There is a one week minimum rental. All linens are supplied, as well as electricity, heat, telephone and high speed Internet. A check in the amount of 1 week rental is held as deposit to confirm the booking and will be returned upon departure.
