There are 1,200 feet of private ocean frontage great for beachcombing and water access. Dark Harbor town center is a 10 minute walk. This exclusive island summer colony is secluded and private.
Islesboro is a short 20 minute ferry ride from the mainland, has several restaurants, private and public facilities for sailing, tennis, golf, horseback riding, and a great public library. Scheduled Maine Department of Transportation ferry operations are reliable and frequent. The ferry web site with current schedules is linked below. The mainland ferry terminal at Lincolnville is a 15 minute drive from Camden, 1 hour drive from Bangor International Airport, and 2 hours from Portland International Airport. Boston is 4 hours by car. Ferry reservations are available for peace of mind and on time arrivals at Ames Cove.
