My two girls and I stayed at this condo for our spring break. We loved it. It was very family oriented and beautiful. The condo was clean as a whistle and the second floor was ideal with a terrific view. Tom the owner has been a pleasure to work with and got my family and I in a very short notice. I am making plans to return very soon. I encourage everyone to check this out.

This is our 2nd time to stay at Tom's place. Came back this time with our 14 year old son. with 3 people, the condo is still comfortable and not cramped. Enjoyed the indoor pool, the hot tub, and Connections Food Bar & Grill on the Beach. You are WAY off the main drag which is what we like. We went into foley for shopping one day because of the Rain. We ventured down one night to "Tequila's Bar & Grill" for great Mexican. The place was packed and has great food. Also, 10 minutes down the road is a Fresh Seafood Market where you can have Shrimp, Corn and Potato's steamed and other seafood as well..bring it back to the room and sit on the Balcony and have dinner while enjoying the view. Ft. Morgan museume is near by, Tacky Jack's, a Dollar General if you need some quick items as well. Overall, once again a great stay at Tom's Place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! It was our second time there and there is plenty to do , but really I just go to do nothing but relax on the beach! There are several places to eat lunch right in Plantation Palms and chair and umbrella rentals right there - but yet it is not crowded. I would highly recommend this condo for relaxation! But there is plenty to do if you want that kind of vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo... great view of the beach from balcony! Very easy walk to all amenities! The Pools and hot tub were so nice! It was like being at a your own private resort! If you want relaxation away from the main drag in gulf shores...this is it! The beach was not crowded at all, super clean, and so peaceful! The condo was great and the washer/dryer was a huge plus! The main resturants are not very far at all to get too! The Beach club is close by within 1 mile offering great dinner... we ate breakfast at Kiva Dunes which is a 3 minute walk from condo and it was awesome! Overall, we really had an awesome time and would defintitely recommend this condo to anyone! :) Thanks!

Great Condo, Even in Rain

We booked the condo for our family of four for Labor Day weekend. Even though Tropical Storm Lee came and tried to ruin our weekend, we still had a great time. The condo was roomy enough for our family, since we spent much more time inside than we expected. A well-stocked kitchen, table for games and puzzles, nice-sized tv to watch football, and a perfect view of the pools and ocean. Because the Plantation has a fabulous indoor pool, jacuzzi, game room, library, and exercise room, there was plenty to do inside. When we had a few minutes without rain, we enjoyed ALL the pools! The condo was very clean and had all the amenities listed. I had a question for Tom and had to call his cell phone in the middle of the day. He answered his phone and has my question answered right away. Great to work with. We'll definitely be back!

My family enjoyed staying here very much. Tom was helpful and easy to deal with. The unit was clean and ready for our arrival as promised. It provided plenty of room for our family of four and would have easily accomodated one more. We definitely recommend this property.

The condo was as pretty as the pic on the web site. it was our first time to Gulf Shore and we had a great time.Our whole family enjoyed the trip. The condo had everything you needed , the washer / dryer made it nice also ,we went home with no dirty clothes to deal with. Can't wait to go back. Most Awesome Stay Ever!

Ok..We felt fortunate to even find this condo Available as we sort had to wait to the last minute to book..fortunately it was available...First of all, Tom was great to deal with...Spoke the truth about the Condo and there was nothing misleading at all about his info. Unit is on 2nd floor and at first I thought I would regret that as I usually am up much higher...However, the grounds are very nice and you still have a Beach View as well and can feel the wind and hear the Beach from the Balcony. Condo was Clean, Decorated nice and I really liked the fact it was off the Main Drag from Gulf Shores, however, you are only a 15-20min drive into town for dining. We found ourselves running down to the Fresh Seafood Market 3 or 4 times tho and had them Steam us Shrimp, Corn, Potatoes and bring it back to the Balcony, which proved to be better food and Cheaper than any restaurant around! The place was comfortable for my Wife and I. Theoretically I Guess you could sleep 4-6 with bunk Bed in Hall and sofa...It might be a tad crowded with that many, but if you were looking to save a few $$$ and did not mind being tight it would be good. The pools are close by and supplied with Grills for cooking and there is also a small Beach Coffee/Beer Sundry of you wanna hang out and get a snack. wife and I made pictures while down there as well, as I am a Semi-Professional Photographer as well...Loved the more natural setting of the Beach with the Sand Dunes. I do not have one negative about the place..As I said, Tow was great to deal with..responded when I emailed him while down there as well. This place is on our "LIKE" List very much!

We loved the condo. It was beautiful and very clean with more amenities than you could ever need. We enjoyed the beautiful beach as well as the view from the balcony. This condo was everything and more that we anticipated. It was located in a great location and I enjoy my days of sitting on the balcony looking at the gulf. I have been to Gulf Shores many times and I must say this ranks as one of the most memorable. When visiting again in the future I will surely look up this condo as a place to stay. The next time that I come I will be hopefully getting married on the beach, and this condo will be the place that I desire to stay.

Everything about this condo was perfect. It was described perfectly. We have a two year old who enjoyed everything about our trip except the sand! Because of this, we loved the pools. When we come back next year, I'm sure she will love the sand. We enjoyed the fact we could grill out on the grounds or go into town to eat. This was our first time using vrbo.com and we are glad it was Tom who we rented from.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Tom's condo! Everything was tastefully done with all the comforts of home, PLUS the sounds and sights of the wonderful Gulf of Mexico from our balcony and just footsteps away! We treasure the 18 days that we spent there mostly on the beach. The beach time rivals what we have spent in the Virgin Islands and Sanibel Island. We appreciated the intergenerational atmosphere where folks were enjoying the beach, tennis, pools, fishing from the shore, and sharing around the wonderfully-appointed grills and picnic tables. It is very relaxing for everyone from infants to seniors who are "young at heart." We look forward to our next visit!

The condo was better than described! The property was beautifully landscaped, well maintained, with amenities galore! We especially enjoyed the indoor pool the morning of our departure. Because of inclement weather we couldn't enjoy the beach but the idoor pool pool was a big hit with my 3 year old! I even had my morning Starbuks beach side. Tom was extremely through with his instructions, no detail left unanswered. What a wonderful experience to get more than you expect! Because the property is quite a way down Ft Morgan Rd it takes at least 20 minutes to get to the attractions in Gulf Shores, Foley and the surrounding area. And for the same reason the beach is much less crowded! We enjoyed going to The Hangout and LuLu's, but were glad to go "home" to a quiet place to rest and relax. The balcony is perfect for reading a book and having a glass of wine. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!! This was our first visit to Gulf Shores but it won't be the last. As for the oil spill... there were some tar balls on the beach, most noticable when the tide was out . One red flag was flying. We could see skimmers in the distance. My daughter played in the clean sand and in the waves but we saved the swimming for the pools.

Tom - your condo was everything you said it would be. We stayed 4 weeks in Jan./Feb. 2010. This condo is one of the nicest I've stayed in along the beach in Gulf Shores. For a 1 bedroom unit, the cupboard and closet space space is more than ample. The mirrowed wall really opened up the visual effects. It is clean, nicely furnished, and the view was spectacular. The 2nd floor view offered a foreground of exotic palm trees against the shimmering waters of the ocean horizon. At night, the ground lighting effects against the background throbing sounds of the ocean fondling the shore was very romantic! Loved it!

Mr. Untiedt, I just wanted to jot you a note to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your condo. It was perfect! Our 2 girls had so much fun playing in the pools and on the beach.
