Beautiful unique cottage located in West Olive Michigan halfway between the resort towns of Holland and Grand Haven Michigan. September begins one of the most beautiful displays of nature in the midwest...golf courses are breathtaking. Beaches are private and the water is delightful. Holland offers a thriving downtown complete with art galleries, casual and fine dining, micro-breweries, sporting good shops and book stores; something for everyone. Grand Haven hosts the Coast Guard festival in August, attracting boaters of all kinds.
Recreational paradise is just steps away with swimming, sunbathing, or boating in Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan at the harbor state parks of Holland and Grand Haven, both with two of the most picturesque lighthouses. A public boat launch at Pigeon Lake is less than a 1/2 mile from the cottage as well as ample parking for your jet ski or small boat. Access to a semi-private beach is 250 yards and a flight of steps down to the most beautiful stretch of sugary sand beach that Michigan has to offer.
Cottage owners are family oriented, with a huge library of books from pre-schoolers to adult fiction and non-fiction. Games, Legos, brio train sets as well as a garage full of sand toys are waiting for your kids or grand kids! Lifejackets, a kayak, floating noodles and all are available for your family. Main floor has a bedroom with a bunk bed, twin day bed and queen size Murphy bed, next to a bathroom, with washer and dryer. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and a stone master bath with surround sound, double shower and new towels. Granite countered kitchen has Calphalon pans and all cooking utensils for wonderful meals! Hot tub outside next to fire pit and outdoor shower.
