I stayed at this house with two other couples and our children last March and it was really the most amazing vacation I have ever been on. It was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful at this house that I forgot I was staying on Miami Beach: it felt more like a European seaside vacation. There is ample dock space for boats, and the owner of the house arranged everything to our specifications, from extra air fresheners and bed sheets to on-site massages and floaty things for the kids to play with in the pool. We usually stay at the Fontainebleau when traveling with the kids to Miami Beach, but we will stay at this house from now on.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

!! Stay away from this property, the owner is very dishonest about the costs!!! He first offered a great deal, and when we sent the funds, he asked for the same amount in deposi. When I refused he stated I would lose my payment which I sent in full!! I had NO choice but to find another the additional amount. Then when we took possesion of the home, he had us sign another contract with an additional large sum in fees which were previously never disclosed. When I refused he stated I would lose the rental and the deposit!!! The kitchen was disgusting (even though they charge a cleaning fee), there is no silverware, only plastic plates and cups and not enough forks and knives. There were dirtly clothes in the washing machine, the pool was dirty, and the furnishing are very poor for a house of this value. They advertise internet, but you have to connect to a neighors connections which only works in one place in the home; on the dining room table by the wall. They stated several TV's, there is only one in the living room, the stereo is from 1980 at best. I mention this becuase this was the "excuse" for the ridiculous deposit. I have stayed in homes in Miami for the past 5 years and this is hands down the worst experience we have ever had. The only positive, the location, it can't be beat. It is a shame, it could be a very good property.

Our home is immaculate and fully furnished. As many wireless users know, when searching for a signal, a laptop or other device may pick up multiple connection signals. Just be sure to tap into the right one. For those who have particular needs or special requests, please let us know when you are making your reservation. We can add or remove items from the house if requested. Thank you for your input; we concur with you in that our location can't be beat and only wish you had told us of your needs during your visit so we could have accommodated you better.

I'm in Miami Beach every Spring and know the area well. Of all the places I've stayed in Miami over the years, this home on Palm Island can't be beat. Any comparable level of amenities, location and view has always cost me a much higher rate. If this house is available again next Spring I'll certainly be back again. It's a real bargain for such a fine property - and on Palm Island!! Another always huge plus, is having an owner as thorough and professional as this one.
