Located in the small town of Yosemite West, on the west side of Yosemite National Park, you can enter Yosemite National Park at any of the entrance gates just once during your vacation as the home is INSIDE the gates of Yosemite National Park. At elevation of 5,600 feet, the air temperatures are comfortable during summer months and snow during winter months. The home is easily accessible year round as roads and parking area at the home are plowed and ready through winter months - important for getting up to the nearby Badger Pass ski area just 18 minutes away!
It is a 20 minute or less drive to Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite Valley. The Glacier Point Road is only 3 miles from the home and this leads to Badger Pass Ski area in winter, or out along the Glacier Point cooridor of the south rim of Yosemite Valley for trails and the famous Glacier Point views.
