Take a cruise to Nova Scotia from Bar Harbor or experience the heart of Downeast Maine with a drive from the cottage to the Canadian border - only an hour and a half away (visit the famous Ganong Chocolate Factory in St.Stephens). Enjoy yourself out on a cruise around the many surrounding islands and watch the multiple waterfowl including the puffins on Petit Manan island or take a whale watch cruise out of Bar Harbor.
