We are listed as 2-bedroom, 2-bath with loft, but stay with us and you will see it is like getting 3-bedrooms for the price of 2!!
Our condo is approximately 1300 square feet and is in excellent condition. It offers two bedrooms (each with a queen sized bed) and a full bath on the main floor plus a bonus bedroom in the loft with built in bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower. There is also a queen-sized pull out sofa in the living room. The unit is located in the heart of Pagosa Lakes (same area as Wyndham Resort); it is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, golf course, a day spa, video rentals, local breweries and a grocery store. And, just 3 miles from the Hot Springs and downtown Pagosa Springs.
Perfect year-round destination!
In the spring, summer and fall, choose from rafting, kayaking, hiking, fishing and hot air ballooning just to name a few. The Hot Springs are open year round. Pagosa Springs is a magical place to visit any time of year. The Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center is located nearby and offers basketball, racquetball, cardiovascular and weight machines, free weights and an indoor pool and hot tub. As a guest of our unit, we can offer you discounted passes of $7 per person per day, to enjoy the facility.
In the winter months, there is skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, ice-fishing and cross-country skiing to enjoy. You can take a short 30 minute drive to Wolf Creek Ski Resort or if you prefer, you can walk to the shuttle bus, offered by Wilderness Journey's (contact them for reservations and accurate information) for about $27 per person, round-trip.
The unit is furnished with bed linens, blankets, towels, fully equipped kitchen (including pots, pans, dishes, utensils) featuring; a coffee maker, toaster oven, indoor grill, professional Kitchen Aid mixer, microwave as well as fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher and garbage disposal and a washer and dryer. The dining table seats six and there are two barstools at the breakfast nook as well. To make your stay more enjoyable, the TV's (flat screen LCD's in living room and master bedroom) each have a DVD player and DiSH Network, and a few movies to choose from too, plus an assortment of games and books are available for you to enjoy. There is also a stereo system with AM/FM, CD and iPod docking station. And, we just added a Wii Game System in the living room, there are a few games available for playing, plus two controllers and a wheel, but be sure to pack your favorites to enjoy while visiting!
The kids will love the loft area… up the spiral staircase to their hangout, featuring built-in bunk beds, a TV, DVD player and a Sony Playstation as well as its own bathroom, they may never come down! We offer complimentary long distance service and DSL and WiFi access so you can keep in touch with your friends, family and the office too. We tried to make this your home away from home, so all the little touches are available for your use; an iron and board, hairdryer, flashlights, candles, snow shovels and ice scrapers to name a few. There are even towels for you to use while at the Hot Springs and sleds for the kids to use at the local sledding hill as well as tennis racquets to enjoy when weather permits! After a long day of enjoying all the Pagosa Springs area has to offer, sink into the oversized jetted bath tub, play a board game, read a book, watch a movie or just sit back and relax. Please note the unit does not have A/C.
Our unit has been updated and remodeled in December 2008, we installed new tile, new carpet, new counters, new appliances, new bedding, new linens, new dishes, basically the works! Come enjoy the best unit in Pagosa!

Why the Owner Chose Pagosa Springs
We fell in love with the Pagosa area the first time we visited. We knew for sure we wanted to have a vacation condo here. Everyone in the town is so friendly and laid back. The town offers fantastic dining from casual to upscale and we LOVE the Pagosa Brewery! There is so much to see and do from skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, snowmobiling, kayaking, hiking, etc.

We tried to make our home one that people would want to visit again and again, so we have equipped it with just about everything that we could think of. And, in December 2008, we renovated, we did all the work ourselves and are very proud of our unit now. We have more updates planned for this year, so keep coming back to check our progress! Our family (two boys, my wife and I) had an awesome time in this cozy condo and would recomend it to anybody wishing to get away from the hum drum and be close to some really great attractions such as hot spring baths, great snow for skiing and snowboarding and any accomidation you want. The Condo is located near shopping Centers with resteraunts and coffee shops and anything you need for a comfortable stay. The Condo was fantastic with cozy bed and kitchen areas and great views of the southern Colorado Rockies. The dining area has everything you need for a romantic candlelight dinner. And if you ski, we had snow, snow, and more snow -- a winter paradise.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

This condo was a great deal for the Pagosa Springs area. We were only disappointed that our cleaning deposit was confiscated with no notice. When I finally inquired I was told that we left the carpet filthy and it had to be cleaned. I beleive we were scammed. Not sure I will book a privately owned rental again.
Owner response:We were saddened to have to keep this deposit as well, as this is the first deposit (or portion thereof) that we had to keep in the 2+ years we have been renting our two units in Pagosa Springs. Our unit is maintained by a private housekeeper who inspects the unit diligently before and after each check out. Unfortunately in this case, the carpet required professional cleaning beyond our regularly scheduled deep clean. Of the original deposit we kept approximately half which we applied toward the carpet cleaning bill, which was equal to the original deposit. We felt that was fair under the circumstances. As you can tell from other guest comments, we take great pride providing an oustanding guest experience. It is imperitive that our unit be well cared for and kept in the utmost clean condition for all to enjoy.

My friends and I recently stayed here December 10th to December 12, 2010. I was amazed to find such a steal on the internet for this place. We were all so impressed by the cuteness of the condo and all the things that were already provided. We all slept comfortably well and the distance from Wolf Creek and Durango were perfect. I cannot say anough great things about this place. Highly recommended to stay if you have other options! Thanks Kathryn!!!!

We just spent a great 5 days in this unit. We have been going to Pagosa Springs for 20 years renting in houses, condo's and hotels, and this was probably the best fit for us in our current stage. Lets start with the unit itself. The unit is very attractively decorated and outfitted with everything we needed. It's really a three bedroom as the enclosed loft has bunk beds and it's own bathroom! We took the master, one adult son took the other room with a queen bed and the college son took one of the the bunk beds. We all had our spaces we could get away to read and sleep in. My husband was thrilled to see a big whirlpool tub in the downstairs bathroom. That is a deal maker for him! He has to have access to a hot tub after a day boarding...and this made it easy for him. The living room was large and very comfortable. There was a great selection of CD's, DVD's and books. We greatly appreciated the cable tv, internet service and free long distance calling. THe dining room table could easily accomadate 8. We ate some great meals and played many a hand of hearts at that table! I did a lot of cooking and baking and it had a top of the line kitchen aide mixer and all the cups and measuring spoons I needed. Of all the places I've stayed over the past 20 years, this had the best equipped kitchen. I didn't have to go out and buy pans or cookie sheets etc. Best of all......the location was great. I can no longer ski, while my husband and sons board almost every day. This location was perfect for me and whoever might not be skiing as it was a 7 minute walk to the recreation center and a 5 minute walk to the coffee shop and a 7 minute walk to the grocery store and restaurants. The owners arranged for us to get a 12 punch card for the rec center for $48 (otherwise $65 if we did it on our own)! The rec center has racket ball courts, swimming pool and hot tub, and cardio machines, weight room and a room for classes! So I was happy too! We are happy we found this unit and will be reserving it for trips in the future. Thanks Kathryn and Trevor for providing this wonderful unit that made our stay so pleasant.

What a great week we had in Pagosa! We were able to entertain 18 people in the condo and were very comfortable. The kitchen is like being at home with everything you could possibly need or want. Loved the big deck and also the small one off the master bedroom. My daughter wants to rent it next year because it is so perfect for her family. We may have to talk about that. PERFECT!! Your condo made our annual family reunion in Pagosa Springs one of the best yet. You supplied everything we needed and more - the well-stocked kitchen, games, videos & COMFORT!! We were able to bring Ma/Great-Grandma over from the Pine Ridge Nursing home a mile away every afternoon to visit with her 3 sons, and great grandkids, she loved being able to feel "at-home" with her family. We also enjoyed the tennis courts, rec bldg access on a rainy evening, the close proximity to groceries & the Pagosa Brewery. Wow, what a great stay! The amenenities are better than any hotel, wireless Internet, Satellite TV in two rooms with DVR, and iPod player that would fit any type. I don't know that I have ever stayed anywhere that had so many extras like that. The bedding, flooring, and kitchen have been recently updated, so it feels fresh and very comfortable. The wood burning fireplace is another cozy comfort, along with many throws, and endless towels. I can't think of an item that we were lacking. Oh, and for renting gear, try Alpen Haus at the golf course pro shop - great prices and people.
