Beyond your private sandy beach, a sheltered cove gives way to the phenomenal snorkeling of Pelican Point. Enjoy a kayak excursion to nearby Lindquist Beach -- the last undeveloped white sand beach in St. Thomas -- or soak up the sun by the pool. Simply standing at the end of the pier under wheeling pelicans, watching graceful sailboats and luxurious yachts ply the warm, azure waters, or counting shooting stars among the clear constellations of the spangled nighttime sky, you'll feel relaxed and at home in your private tropical paradise.
With cavernous vaulted ceilings, mahogany woodwork, and open design, Villa Maitland is both grand and comfortable. The decor of the main house is typical West-Indian and includes many antiques; the cottage furnishings are casual and contemporary.
