Wish you were here! Walk directly onto the sugar sands of Crystal Beach in the heart of Destin on the Scenic Highway (Old 98). Crystal Sands was built at the location of the original Crystal Pier. In fact, some of the historical pilings still remain and provide great snorkeling.
You are so close to everything! Just 3 to 8 minutes from the mid-bay bridge, Destin Commons Shopping Center (Publix grocery, big box retailers, Hard Rock Cafe, Bass Pro Shop, etc.), Regatta Bay and Emerald Bay country clubs (they allow daily play for vacationers), Big Kahuna's water and amusement park, great restaurants and more! We have on site management to address any concerns.
I have owned several units and this is by far the best location on the Beach in Destin. Our unit is also the best located unit in the complex. First, it is an end unit on the ground floor - no schlepping your suitcases and groceries up stairs or on the elevator; just pull right up to door. Second, no hauling your beach gear up and down the stairs or elevator; you simply open your sliding glass door onto the balcony and voila, you are right on the boardwalk to the beach (see picture). This makes the vacation with children so much more enjoyable. It makes the inevitable up and down trips from the room, a breeze; the second and third floor guests have to walk around to the street side of the building and head up the elevator or stairs. If you send your kids up for a bathroom break, you can watch them the entire way into the unit. Third, the heated pool is also right next to our unit. Finally, there are BBQ grills right beside our unit - so no balancing your dinner while trekking down and up the stairs or elevator. Oh yeah, this is a low rise unit, only three stories - more beach and less crowds!
What really makes this unit so outstanding is of course, the emerald and turquoise waters along with the sugar white sand. Our end unit has great access, location and view for your trip to Destin. Imagine sipping your morning coffee from the patio, directly on the beach, while watching the dolphins play in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Even when you are inside, the view is incredible.
