Our second home is a two bedroom unit, that sleeps like a three bedroom unit. This unit is great for a large family or even for two families to share. Our unit is on the 4th floor with 1140 square feet, sleeps eight comfortably, this is not your normal small, River Run condo.
Also, as close to ski in/ski out as you can get without paying $800.00 per night. You can see the Gondola and ski slope easily while in unit, you wake up in the AM and the first thing you see is fresh snow on the Gondola! Red Hawk is so close that it is a snap to get to the Gondola in the AM and great to have a nice lunch or let that tired child take a nap in the afternoon. Red Hawk is one of the newest buildings in River Run. Red Hawk Lodge is on the east side of River Run, enjoy the amenities of River Run without the noise and relax in the peace of Colorado.
This large unit feels open and has lots of light. The living room has a large sofa and 2 chairs that provides plenty of seating in front of the fireplace or new flat screen TV that offers free HBO. There is also a LAND LINE in the unit and FREE wireless WI FI. The kitchen has all you need for cooking and opens up to the dining room. The dining room table is huge and seats 8 for your family meals. Our unit has slate floors in the kitchen and all the bathrooms. The unit comes with humidifiers and fans if needed. Both bedrooms have armories and large closets. The finishes and furniture in this unit are all high end, but you will feel right at home in this comfortable unit.
ONLY LOCALS KNOW that after Keystone and most other ski areas close, Arapaho Basin is open for 2-3 months longer. A-basin is a short 7 mile drive from Keystone, low rental rates and some of the best skiing in Colorado!

* Both the Master bedroom and the second bedroom have attached full bathrooms.
* Master Bedroom is large, has a King bed, TV, phone and slope side view, you may not want leave your bed - until you see the slope from your bedroom window! The bathroom has dual sinks, slate, high end fixtures and a private water closet.
* Second bedroom could be used as second master, has queen bed with slope side views and a TV. The second bedroom has a full attached bath, also with slate and high end finishes.
* There is a third full bathroom in living/dining room for privacy for all guests. This bath also has slate and high end fixtures.
* The queen size Murphy bed folds down easily between the living and dining room. You do not have to move furniture around to pull down the Murphy bed. This Murphy bed is a real queen bed and you will have a great nights sleep in this bed.
* There is also a queen size high end sleeper sofa in the living room to sleep your entire family.

We live in Florida, but love the mountains of Summit County. We live a busy life with us both working, and our son works very hard in school. He also swims 2 hours a day, is a competitive swimmer and practices in the winter at the Red Hawk pool. We have so many wonderful memories from Colorado and would love for you to make your own memories in our home!
Why the Owner Chose River Run, Red Hawk Lodge
We looked at about 50 condos in Keystone. We determined fairly quickly that we needed more space then what we were seeing in most River Run condos. So the 1140 sq foot 2 bedroom, 3 bath was perfect for our family. We can have family or friends join us and still be comfortable. We looked at all the buildings in River Run and settled on Red Hawk Lodge for several reasons. First it is VERY close to the Gondola, it is very peaceful, no bars or stores below the building. It is a stand alone building with the Snake River and the Ski Slopes behind the building. But it is also still in the River Run Village, just on the quiet East side of the Village.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Red Hawk Lodge's pool, hot tub, sauna, work out room, and lobby are all private. We do not have to share our hot tubs or pool with other buildings. Plus the view of the River and Ski Runs is wonderful while you are working out or sitting in the hot tub. Our son enjoys playing a game of pool, chess or checkers with his Dad down in the lobby. In the morning you just get on the elevator, go to the private ski lockers, grab your skis, walk out the door and you are on the Gondola. It is very easy to get spoiled while staying at the Red Hawk Lodge. Go ahead and spoil yourself - it is your vacation!
