This brand new home is surrounded by the Nanawale Forest Reserve. Your stay will be informative and relaxing as you enjoy the many comforts of this special home in our special place called Puna.
The house has open-beam ceilings throughout with beautifully finished pine wood, tile flooring in the living and dining areas, and wood floors in the bedrooms. Granite counter tops adorn both kitchen and bathrooms. The master bedroom has a very comfortable queen-sized bed, its own private bath with a shower-built-for-two, a large walk-in-closet complete with shelving for storage, and multiple lighting alternatives.
Learn about the "akua," the Hawaiian gods and goddesses, during your stay in this themed island suite. Your other guests will enjoy bedrooms which are appointed with very comfortable twin beds and have easy access to the second bathroom. The kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances with a double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, full/stove with oven, microwave, and coffee-maker.
Fresh island foods, sold at the local farmer's market, will taste delicious at the oak trestle table with 6 comfy chairs near the bay window in the dining area. After dinner, enjoy a movie or music with drinks and unusual island snacks in the cozy living room.
If you snagged some fresh island fish, either by hook, or at the local fish market in Pahoa, you can grill it on the spacious lani as the sun sets in the west. Keep an eye out for the Hawaiian Hawk that frequents this part of the forest reserve.
