Only 2 miles to DNR boat ramp. W.Bay is part of Lake Mich, and so has cleaner water, bigger waves and sandier beaches, and no "swimmers itch" like in the small inland lakes.
Lots of Activities! *Hike in the woods, or drive a short distance to quaint Suttons Bay. Browse the antique stores, have lunch at one of the great little restaurants, buy a T-shirt that says "Up North", and a yard ornament. Ride bikes on the blacktopped streets, or rent kayaks, boats, etc.*Close to golf courses, and 12 vineyards which offer free tastings of local wines. Sands Casino offers Nitetime excitement, gaming, entertainment, and the Eagle Restaurant.
