DUMINY COTTAGE: Self-catering
Surrounded by milkwood trees, fynbos gardens, and abundant birdlife, the Duminy Cottage is perfect for families. This spacious house features beautiful natural finishes with glass that opens widely onto a large stoep and upper deck with panoramic mountain and lagoon views.
Sleeps 9 with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a large loft with a separate bathroom; one bedroom is wheelchair accessible; full kitchen; open living/dining room; wood burning stove; outdoor braai. The cottage is in our activity center near the 1892 Spookhuis restaurant.
Dinner, full breakfast and picnic lunch are available by reservation.
FOOD AND WINE
Our fine dining restaurant in the 1892 Stanford Spookhuis presents a fusion of classic and contemporary South African Cuisine. Organic produce and herbs are gathered daily from our garden, including sweet beetroot, rocket leaves, spinach, rosemary, fennel and basil. Bread is baked each day, fresh fish is ordered in regularly from the local harbours, and select meats are custom cut at a local butchery. The freshest ingredients of the season are blended into great food sensations.
Also available is our small Duminchie Cottage and our exclusive, 10 bed safari style Lagoon Lodge.
