We recently took our first trip to Costa Rica the week before the Christmas Holiday of 2011 and had a great time. We stayed at the New Villa and really enjoyed the property. Everything was clean, worked well, and was nice. The views are spectacular, and the property is close to the beach. The place was tastefully decorated and made us feel at home while we were in the Flamingo Beach area.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My party of two couples stayed at this property in early March and enjoyed our stay immensely. This was a spacious well maintained condo with a phenomenal view of the Pacific below! We started each day with coffee on the lower balcony overlooking the ocean. The view is great. One day a group of 8-10 howler monkeys were feeding in the trees directly below the porch! We ended each day on the balcony as well. The view of the setting sun was so gorgeous we came back with almost 200 pictures of sunsets! The master suite was especially nice with its own balcony and a jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean. There is also access to two well maintained pools each with a view of the ocean. The property managers were very helpful. They were more than willing to answer any questions we had, and gave us pointers to make our stay better. The location is fantastic. The local beach was beautiful and never crowded. Flamingo offered dining to fit whatever mood we were in. Also, the people in Costa Rica are friendly and most speak English. I got by knowing only "donde es el bano?" I would definitely recommend this property and Costa Rica in general!
