Have you ever wanted to experience a beautiful sunrise looking over the sea, watch a summer thunderstorm with a spectacular lightning show, or just chill on a sea front porch listening to the seagulls and the waves rolling in, well CaymanChillin is just for you!
CaymanChillin is a 3,000 square foot, 3 bedroom, Caribbean Villa home available for rent on the East End (Location Map) of Grand Cayman. CaymanChillin has all the comforts of home.
CaymanChillin, just recently remodeled after Hurricane Ivan damaged the inside (9/11/04), is just 2 miles from the district of East End, and a short scenic drive to the North Side. There are no traffic jams in East End, no crowds, no crowded beaches, and best of all you can enjoy a quiet evening sitting on the sea screen porch, or enjoying 200 channels on Satellite TV as well as the Cayman local TV channels.
Or, why not a game of pool on our full size pool table or a swim in the new SOLAR HEATED pool just 50 feet from the sea. Snorkeling awaits you just 50 feet from the house, safe swimming as the slope of the sea side is very slight to a maximum of 23 feet inside the reef, and if you are really adventurous for a good swim, a reef awaits you, during low tides, one mile out to explore "THE WRECK OF THE RIDGEFIELD" or just a walk on the sand bar.
The weather on the East End of Grand Cayman is great and there is almost always a cool breeze blowing which keeps the house cool and the local bug pest problem to a minimum. CaymanChillin has two 4 ton AC units, ceiling fans in all bed rooms, TV room, recreation room, and 3 on the sea porch area. If you want to know the current weather conditions, you can get them from the in-house weather station.
We offer a full weather station display in the house as well. Also, take a look at the CaymanChillin outside web cams if you would ever like to see live pictures of the weather on the East End and CaymanChillin. During hurricane Wilma (Nov '05) the Weather Channel was using clips from the webcams to show conditions in the Cayman Islands!
And yes, free local phone service (long distance extra) is available to make reservations for dining, booking your next dive, or whatever you plans might be. We also know some of you have to keep in touch with home, weather it be business or just bragging on what a good time you are having on Grand Cayman, so we offer full fast speed ADSL internet service both wired and wireless so don't forget your laptop and your network cable!

Map & Owner's Profile
Caymanchillin, a Villa on the Sea - Grand Cayman
Year Purchased: 1998
Why the Owner Chose East End
As I drove by this property, I loved the view of the reef and the wreck of the Henderson just a mile off shore...some of the most beautiful sun rises you will ever see as well as a breeze 95% of the time to just keep the heat down during the mid summer days.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
CaymanChillin is your island home away from home. We offer satellite television with all the movie channels, big screen TV, pool table, VCR/CD player, stereo, satellite music, screened in sea porch with music speakers, large kitchen with all the extras, ceiling fans and solar heater for the pool.
Owner's Map of East End
Welcome to Caymanchillin...My name is Bill Rogers and I am 58 years old. I was born in Alabama (USA) and have lived in the Shoals area ever sense. I have a college degree in Business and was in the family retail business (forth generation)till the late 90's where we sold the business and I am retired now.
I have been going to Cayman for the past 27 years and love the island. Also have made many friends there as well. In early 1998, I found a piece of property on the East End of Grand Cayman that I fell in love with and was able to purchase it as an investment..but soon I got house fever and had to build. So I did in 1998 and 1999 and finished the house and named it CaymanChillin. The house went through several hurricanes over the years but in 2004, Hurricane Ivan did a number on it with a 3 foot wave going through the inside. It took over a year to repair the damage but the villa is stronger than ever and more user friendly. CaymanChillin is your home away from home and I have added the extras to make it that way. I take pride in the villa and want to make you as at home as possible, but with that island atmosphere. Recently I have built a pool and installed a solar heater to break that chill off it during the winter months. Just 50 feet from the pool is the ocean and there is some great snorkeling out there especially on the coral knobs. Plenty of lobsters hiding as well as other sea adventures.
I hope you will keep us in mind and I will be happy to help you in booking and answer any questions you might have. If you have not checked out the Caymanchillin home page please do so at our website. In the mean time, I hope you consider us but even if you don't, make your trip to Grand Cayman or the sister islands..... Bill Rogers owner

This home was more than I expected - clean and well kept. A great place to stay for a family of 5 adults. Plenty of room; we all loved the view from each of the bedrooms that looked out to the sea. At night we would sit by the pool with the yard lights off and watch the stars. On the East End we were away from all the "tourist" traps but close enough to everything we wanted to do. After all the Island is only 75 sq miles. The owner e-mailed us prior to our trip so we were well prepared for Cayman Island before we left home. He also provided us with everything we needed to know for the house, grocery shopping, restaurants and places to see and visit on the island. We would recommend a stay at Caymanchillin. For souvenirs check out the little store across the street about 1/8 mile down the road.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
