We had a group of ten and the house(es) worked out great! Both dwellings provided comfortable accommodations. It's a little bit of a hoof to Sugarbush, but well worth it. We'll be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We had an amazing time at the Acorn ridge property. The owners clearly want each guest to feel the love and detail of a perfectly appointed second home. This property had a huge toy stach which was perfect of my sons and their cousins (all under 10) to help keep them entertained. We would highly recommend that anyone with kids choose this home for their vacation needs! Thanks for the gerat home!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

When all ten relatives converge here for graduation -- Aunts, Uncles, and Mom and Dad -- found such a wonderful place to relax and have family discussions and just plain catch up time with the family.... We had perfect weather, barbeques, bonfires, toasting marshmallows. My daughter was commissioned into the Army -- Second Lieutenant, then graduation --WOW. The house was perfect for our guests, plenty of room, movies, bathrooms, and the grounds were great and relaxing. ...Our last night it rained and we had a beautiful rainbow.Did you find this review helpful? Thank you so much for the use of your home. This was so amazing, the view is breathtaking. Took a walk out in the timber ... simply beautiful. Took in a sleigh ride, went skiing, and sledding. Would love to come back in the summer or fall. A great time has been had by all. Unforgettable memories ... we were sad to leave. Kids spent countless hours playing on the pond and building fires. Heated floors = amazing. Great family board games.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

...thank you for letting us stay at your amazing house. To us this felt a little like paradise. The skiing was by far the funnest thing we did on the trip. We also went sledding at Lincoln Gap and we made a ramp at the bottom. I hope more families get to enjoy the beauty and fun of Vermont and our home. This was by far the best vacation that we ever have taken...THANKS.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. When the winter weather came it was absolutely breathtaking up on your hill. We skied, dined out all over town, toured Ben and Jerrys, Montpelier, and Burlington. Enjoyed the movies and toys for the kids.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We loved the spot! The view of the mountains was the perfect morning greeting. We lounged, read, cooked, and just hung out. The dogs loved exploring the smells and creatures around the pond. The blue dragonflies were totally sci-fi! We hiked several trails, ate fabulous flatbread, and played badminton. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you!Did you find this review helpful?
