Join us in one of the few vacation rentals with a pool (shared only with others in the duplex) directly across the street from the Gulf with easy beach access (only 420 feet to Public Beach Access).
Lounge around the pool day or night, barbecue, kick back and relax around the lighted pool and patio. Completely fenced in to contain the little ones for those days when the beach is a little too much.
Each side ('C' or 'D') sleeps ten and has covered balconies with both Gulf and Pool views. Both sides are available for rent for a total of sleeping 20 persons. Bedrooms and living rooms have TVs and DVD players.
Located far enough away from Gulf Shores Center to enjoy plenty of Beach and quite peaceful evenings. Yet, only a little more than 2 miles to get to the restaurants, shops, attractions and groceries. We stayed in the East side of this house with another family in May 2011. It was the perfect set-up for four adults and four kids (ages 11, 10, 7 and 6). We all loved the less-crowded, residential end of Gulf Shores, away from the high-rise condos and shoulder-to-shoulder crowds on the beaches. The kids LOVED the bunk beds and the backyard pool. We were only a few steps (across the street) from the beach which was not crowded, even on Memorial Day weekend! We set-up a tent on the beach and felt safe keeping it up all week and keeping our beach gear there, too. When the kids were tired of the sand and waves, we headed to the clean, sparkling pool which had a nice shaded deck and plenty of pool-side seating. The kitchen had TONS of dishes, pots, pans and utensils ... so much so that we had to rearrange a little to find a cabinet to store food! Rent this place and you'll have everything you need (and more) for meal prep. The house was clean, had nice furnishings and was perfect for our families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly consider this house for our next beach vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed on side "D" for one week in August. The house was great. More than enough room for the 7 of us. The pool was awesome. The beach just across the street. Would recommend this house for families and would love to stay there again.Recommended for: Families with young children.
