They make it feel like Home - Put the key in the front door - Relax and Enjoy!

The Cottage has a great location, quiet neighborhood, steps to Whitman, and a stroll to downtown. The public areas are great if your group fills the house, our family size is 4 - so our college kids didn't share a room. Great layout, great back yard for BBQ. While you could easily enjoy the kitchen, the owner's recommendation for coffee/pastry and local restaurants was spot on. Ok, Colville Street Patisserie, the IceBerg for the best local hamburger and shakes, and the Green Spoon for a great range for everyone. We just kept enjoying Walla Walla. Sunday/Monday lots of places are closed, so we missed the Sweet Onion Sausage on Main. The hospitality from the owner made us feel welcome and we appreciated those efforts. Great beds! I love the dining room chandelier too. Thank you -

Owner response:Thank you! We appreciate all of your helpful tips as well for the vacation rental! All the best...

Our family met here from 3 different states. It was perfect. The house was well above standard. Very clean, comfortable and accommodating. You can't beat a park in the front and back of the house. Plenty of fun yard activities. It truly felt like home. We can't wait to come back. Thanks so much!!

A fabulous place to stay!

We could not have imagined a better place to stay, rest, relax and rejuvenate. This quaint home had all the amenities that you could need. We cooked all our meals in the home. The cookware is very good. The knives are a bit dangerous as they are not very sharp and the handles a bit loose. If you like to cook and want good knives bring your own (not on a plane though :)). The kitchen appliances are very modern and do a great job. The backyard is just magical. The grill worked well for us. We spent all our evening meals on the back patio eating what we created and drank the wines that we picked up during the daytime. Just the way we like to travel! We walked/ran every morning/day during our 4 day stay. The home is located near two parks/play grounds and the neighborhood is very sweet and seems safe. With Whitman Collage just a few blocks away you can stroll through their courtyard and enjoy many of the benches while you read a book under a big tree. We just loved our stay in Walla Walla and the comfy home felt like our home!

Peaceful in Walla Walla

Guest: Coop (Fayetteville, North Carolina)
Date of Stay: 07/31/10 Review Submitted: 08/16/10

My wife and I traveled from North Carolina and picked up our son and his fiance in Seattle. None of us had ever been to Walla Walla. We had a great time visiting Walla Walla. It is a very quaint city and the people are very nice. The best decision we made was to stay in Beit Nur (House of Light). What a relaxing stay!!! All the comforts of home. We enjoyed starting and ending our day on the deck overlooking the beautiful back yard. It was so peaceful. We will come back to Walla Walla and we will stay here again.

Wonderful wine weekend away!!

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful residence this past weekend. It was very close to downtown and we were able to enjoy a nice walk through the campus to hit the tasting rooms. Safeway was nearby as well for groceries. There was a total of 3 couples and we enjoyed the spacious rooms and ability to have breakfast together in the kitchen. We would definately stay here again.

This house was perfect for my husband and I + our two dogs. The neighborhood was fabulous for walking each morning and evening. The backyard was a treat - big enough to throw a ball but small enough to keep a close eye. The bed in the master was so comfortable, we decided we needed to replace our own bed. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped which we appreciated. Overall, our stay at Beit Nur was a great little holiday. Thanks.

My family had a tremendous reunion and wine tasting weekend from this beautiful home. The dogs were able to utilize the yard, which is such a nice relief from most places in town. Thank you for all of the extra touches and the personable experience. We enjoyed the photos and stories of your families travels and experiences overseas. Thank you for everything and we'll certainly be back very soon!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully appointed, yet warm and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the kitchen! The back yard was a perfect spot for relaxing and playing with the dogs. We will be back!
