Front grass lot to the beach, Gulf of Mexico waterfront in front and on ICW in the back of the home, a nice little fishing and crabbing dock on the deep water Intracoastal Canal and then looking across to the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge with wide open vista. All viewable from the Great Room overlooking both with large front and back decks. Picture it? This is a one of a kind location and secret spot 1 hour from Houston. Marble countertops, Hardwood cabinets, bamboo flooring in great room. Doublewide 10 jet jacuzzi raised to view out the 8 foot wide picture window and see the ICW and Brazoria Natl. Wildlife Refuge. A national birding destination. Children's playset with big slide and lookout over the canal and large grass yard. The home is divided with upstairs unit and downstairs unit or both, however you prefer.

Married Professionals w/ weekend house we have enjoyed for many years. Nice redfish at sunset on the ICW in back. Treat this place like it were yours. We do and we love it.
Why the Owner Chose Matagorda
I chose this place for my family to enjoy, and we have for many years. We have just begun rentals after 9 years of ownership. It is one of a kind, really fine and 1 hour from Downtown Houston. It is an end destination, at the end of an island with no pass through traffic. Peace and quiet.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Beauty and serinity. The beach, the canal, the wildlife refuge, the island. Surfing, fishing, boating, crabbing and fishing on our dock. Beach cruises in the 4x4, waterskiing, wake boarding, jet skiing, atvs down the beach, cooking, parties, walking the beach, hanging on the decks, sunsets, sunrises, the moon and stars.
