Swing over the water for a thrill, or fish off the dock for Bass, Brim, Catfish, Pickerel.
Bring your motor boats and water toys if you wish or use the Peddle Kayak or Canoe all ready there. This home is well located, minutes from the Villages with shopping, dining and entertainment, golf courses, museums.

If it has water we are in. We love all bodies of water Springs, Rivers, Lakes, Oceans, ect. My husband and I have had wonderful child hoods growing up on Lakes. We have shared the dream of raising 4 boys on water fishing, wake boarding tubing, skiing, surfing, scuba diving,snorkeling, Sailing, kayaking, boating, any activity above or below water is an adventure for us. We are born water babies. We love adventure. We loved Lake Weir so much we have bought 2 lake houses on Lake Weir because it is a large clean Spring fed, sand bottom lake with 2 Restaurants/ Bar you can travel to by boat . Also Because it is abundant with fish and nature. We also have a home/ Family owned and run Tourist Scuba Diving Business 1 hour N.W. of Lake Weir. It is a Fresh Water Spring Cavern Dive. It is in the top 10 Fresh water dive in the world. We are in the business of helping people get the most out of time off, and having FUN!!
We also built a Villa on Langousta Beach in the North Guanacaste Area of Costa Rica Central America. We love the surfing, fishing, snorkeling, cave spelunking dry caves, Canopy zip line tours in the canopy of the rain forest over rivers and waterfalls. Rainforest mountain tours on ATV, horse, or foot. We have made it our goal at the end of every day to enjoy a awesome sunset on the water which we have at all our homes.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Weir
We bought tis home because of the beauty of Lake Weir one of a few clean Large Spring fed, sand bottom lakes in i in Central Florida with great fishing and abundant wildlife with many varieties of water fowl, owls, eagles, hawks, turkey, otters, deer, and not allot of large gators, like many other mud bottom lakes in Florida. The County Park attracts and and harbors allot of Surrounding wildlife. I love viewing the abundant wildlife daily. The property is at the end of dead end road the ends at water edge. Water on two sides. with the view of water and trees only. Feels very secluded and peaceful, all you hear is wildlife. Smell the orange blossoms from the surrounding Orange Groves in the spring season. But only 8 to 10 minutes to Villages for shopping, movies, golfing, or anything you need or could want. Lake Weir is close to Amusement Parks: Disney, Universal Studio, Silver Springs, Water Parks, Museums and more.
Also, very close to many County and State Spring Parks, Rainbow River & Spring for tubing, Kayaking. Silver River, Withacochee River, St. Johns River. It is surrounded with beautiful large Oak Trees and horse Farms along with your typical tropical fauna mixture of Palm trees, bird of paradise, ect.
Travel East or West 1 hour to either Coast For Great Beaches, Deep Sea fishing, or snorkel with Manatee or Salt water activities.
