Year Purchased: 2006
Ron and Valerie are near native Tucsonans having resided in the "Old Pueblo" since the late 50s. Ron now retired used to own a tour company and is for all intention and purposes a history buff. His hobbies are blue water sports fishing and golf. Valerie is a school teacher and grew up in neighborhoods near the University. Both Ron and Valerie have a passion, life long interest and appreciation for the area, its people, history and natural beauty.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Casas Adobes neighborhood is well known as one of Tucson unique and finer neighborhoods. All the homes are located on arceage and provide so much privacy. We are only the third owners, Valerie's sister was the second. The house has distinctive detail characteristic of a prominent group of architects and builders well known in thier era and to this day in Southern Arizona.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The beauty of the property is amazing. The house is situated back from the street. The property is tiered sloping down toward a normally dry creek with an abundance of lovely natural vegatation inlcuding numerous tall trees. It is an oasis. We love the incredible view of the mountains, susnsets, a wide variety of birds and wildlife that are a feature of eveyday life.
