Relax and enjoy the ocean breeze from the balcony and living room. Awaken to the sound of the surf and a breathtaking sunrise. View a fantastic sunset over the Intracoastal Waterway while sipping on a cold one! So much to do - and so little time to do it! There are no finer beaches on the East Coast. Get some sand between your toes, collect some shells, and have a terrific family vacation at the beach.
Our unit has 1200 square feet of living space on the second and third floors. Living, dining, kitchen, and one-half bath downstairs; two bedrooms with two full baths upstairs. One pull-out sleeper sofa in living room. This is our 9th year of renting through VRBO and we continue to make improvements to the unit each year - Since 2002 the entire unit has been upgraded with new carpet, paint, bathroom tile, furniture, two TVs - one new flat screen w/DVD/VCR, washer/dryer, new kitchen appliances, and a totally new air conditioning system. We have a KING size bed in the master bedroom, a screen door to let cool breezes through the unit and replaced the patio glass door. We do the best we can to keep our condo as comfortable and accommodating as possible.
The unit overlooks one of four pools (heated in winter) and a clear view of the Atlantic Ocean (see picture). Located in a large complex offering tennis and racquetball at the extreme southern end of Anastasia Island - a short beach walk to the Matanzas Inlet - very secluded from the busy beach scene - yet close enough to all the activities Saint Augustine has to offer.
RENTAL RESERVATION POLICIES:
* Checks or money orders only - checks must clear a minimum of one week before check in.
* All rents and cleaning fees due and payable in full at least two weeks before check-in date.
* Deposits returned following completion of inventory and site inspection - allow 21 days.
* No booking confirmed until signed rental agreement and deposit is received and cleared.
* Minimum 30-day cancellation notice required - deposit returned within ten days of cancellation. Within 30-day cancellation period deposit not refundable.

My wife and I, along with my brother, his wife, and their two children spent a quick 4 night getaway at Summerhouse, and we could not have asked for anything better. St. Augustine is a great city to visit with one of the widest beaches anywhere. This condo provides easy access to both. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped, and beach access is only a short walk past the pool and over the dunes. We used the reviews left in the guest book on site to find some great places to eat, and Dennis and Katy were very easy to work with for our booking. Could not have asked for a better, more convenient place to stay.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was our second time renting this condo and I think we fall in love a little more each time. The condo is perfect and the beach is stunning. Because of the location of Summerhouse, you sometimes feel as if you have the whole beach to yourself. We love the St.Augustine area as well! Thank you to Dennis and Katy for sharing their home with others and for having such an awesome property manager, Julie, to help with all the little things. We will back again and we can't wait. This condo is exactly as described! The view of the ocean and pool is one of the best in the complex! Very short walk to the beach! Well equiped and clean. Great value! Lots of good restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed staying there! Dennis and Katy are wonderful people and easy to work with!

This was our first time renting a condo through VRBO and it was perfect. The condo was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect. The beach was amazing for our three children!!

Had a great time here... Beach is very clean and quiet. Not crowded. You can 4x4 on beach which makes it easy to bring all the chairs and cooler to the beach. It is "nothing" like daytona so do not have that impression. The condo was clean and well stocked with dishes, towels etc... They have a local POC that manages the property who was very helpful.

We had a wonderful time in Crescent Beach and our stay at Summerhouse was perfect. The owners, Dennis and Katy, are wonderful to work with and were very honest and kind people. The condo was everything that you could ask for and it is lovely of them to share it with others. The complex is beautiful, quiet and well-maintained. The beach was not crowded, super clean and just gorgeous. Our family had a great time and we didn't want to leave.

Dennis & Katy are wonderful owners and the condo was exactly as described on the website. They could not have been more helpful with directions and any other questions we thought of. Julie was fabulous, she recommended some great restaurants, gave us directions to the grocery stores and outlet malls (very important!!,). She had the condo spotless and even called us to see if we had everything we needed. The condo comes with everything you need, including beach chairs!! The furnishings are brand new and very clean (big plus for me). The view was gorgeous, the beach is very private and the pool is great... All in all we had a wonderful vacation and I am definetly going back for future vacations.

This condo more than met our expectations. Comfortable furniture and bed, important for an extended stay. Every extra was included to make us as welcome and comfortable as if we were in our own home. The ocean view was beautiful, as was sitting on the beach. It was nice to have the pool option also. A real plus was having beach chairs, last time we had to purchase them. One of the nicest part of our vacation was dealing with these owners, helpful, honest and considerate of our time and entire vacation experience. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

THE BEST! I have been coming to this area for over 30 years. My wife Diane and I now have 4 grown children who still love to come back every year. Great family place for young and old.
